'Chuck's transfer will open the doors for the other youngsters. I still don't understand why they sold 'Piojo' Alvarado... The kid is barely 19... He showed a lot of promise with Celaya...
Jesus Godinez, Angel Lopez, Carlos Zamora, Kevin Magaña, Diego Cortes, Fernando Beltran, Benjamin Galindo Jr, Jose Macias, Ivan Gutierrez, and Juan Orozco are going to be doing preseason with Chivas.
@Centauro del Norte What can you tell me about this guy? Alejandro Arana Schelttwein Keeper Coras FC Is he, could he, be better than that NAD defector?
He seems like a solid prospect. Just signed with Pumas. He's a little on the short side for a GK. His height is 5 foot, 11 in. He played a handful of games with Coras IIRC in Liga de Ascenso and Copa MX... I was hoping he would make the U20 World Cup since was in the age range, and was the only Mexican GK with experience but unfortunately they didn't called him... What a shame... He could have showcased his talented and perhaps get scouted.... By the looks of it, seems he could possess a German passport because of his 2nd last name...
That's a valid point, hence why I hope Arana pans out despite his height... Another midget that has had a long career has been 'Conejo'... I don't think Arana will have many minutes with the first team though.... He'll most likely be with the U20 side... You see, Pumas promoted Bernábe Magaña (Born in Califas), and Gus Alcalá as 2nd and 3rd GK, respectively, behind Saldívar... José Castillo has also been called up for the preseason... Alcalá is by far the best GK prospect from Pumas... He's over 6 foot 4, has great reflexes and positioning. He was part of the last U20 process, although he didn't make the cut... Alcalá has been training with the first team since 2015... I hope he gets his chance in the Copa MX. If he makes it big, you heard it here first... I hope they play Santi Gimenez, I'm telling you those Argentinian strikers are ready to ball at 16-17(Agüero, Tévez, Higuaín) Ahaha, no but really I'm excited about this guy. I was beginning to worry about who would replace Cheech and Jimenez in the years to come.
Santi played some during Cruz Azul's victory against Gallos Blancos yesterday... Luis Zaragoza scored the only goal... He's one to keep an eye also... 877690932677808129 is not a valid tweet id
