He's a Chelsea legend, but these retread managers are boring as hell. Villa not being bold at all and willing to be ok with the Championship.
didn't di matteo take west brom up? they could do a lot worse in my opinion. i think the players are going to be a bigger concern.
The squad wasn't "awful" but it was not a good team. That was also hands down the most fortunate CL run of all time.
Really loved this guy at his peak. Absolute monster. No way our midfield would be cut as butter as it generally does nowadays. Link: https://www.instagram.com/p/BHhSGBuDCSG/
I loved Essien. Such a great player. So pissed when Jose wasted him at right back for all those games. He gave us one of the best Chelsea goals of all time.
I believe he was at right back in that game... In other news, would have loved to see Ramires punch the referee. http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation....ong-jiangsu-ramires-red-card-referee-incident
Cudicini and Hilario are on Conte's staff. Quite frankly I'm glad to see Cudicini have some involvement with the first team. Always liked him. Except when he went to Spurs. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...cini-given-role-on-the-chelsea-coaching-staff
Former Chelsea skipper* had a few too many http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sp...nk-driving-spotted-drinking-bottle-wheel.html * Although you whippersnappers on here probably don't remember the great young captain he was for us He was 18 years old and was the Captain of Chelsea FC, pretty amazing really.
Yeah, led the team to promotion within a couple of years and then they went back down again after the manager left. Played for PSG before it was cool.
He was 18. He was a great player. An attacking midfield player who signed for Man United and they turned him into a defensive midfield player and he was from then on known as "the crab" - he was Deschamps before Deschamps*. *Deschamps also had a season as a Chelsea player - he was good but he hated it in London.
In unsurprising news, Drogba has just scored against Arsenal... This guy knows how to score against @Arsenal, huh? #MLSAllStar https://t.co/Jesm9Ryxm2— Major League Soccer (@MLS) July 29, 2016
