So this reporter from the Sacramento Bee hassled a US soldier at a checkpoint and then bragged about it in his blog, being, apparently, extremely proud of being a complete asshat. The reaction was so - well, - entertaining that he has since deleted the entire post and the comments. Fortunately for those of us who enjoy good humor at the expense of arrogant little military-hating liberal "reporters" someone saved the entire thing. Herewith, the blog post and the comments. Which raises the question -- if a reporter's only story was what an asshat he was to a US soldier, AND said reporter feels secure enough to run around Iraq without all necessary ID and to take a short cut into a checkpoint -- maybe we really ARE winning.
Clearly the guy was writing this to show off for his liberal pals back home. He figured they'd all get a good chuckle out of him demonstrating what ignorant, backwoods Goobers American soldiers are and how much smarter and superior he is. The John Kerry approach. But they support the troops.
As someone said - if this assclown really HAD ended up outside the wire and found himself under fire, who do you suppose he would have wanted to come save his miserable ass from a squad of Al Queda gunmen: the Ugandans?
