I was actually looking for where Fuad Ibrahim is today (Transfermarkt now has him at Dire Dawa City FC in Ethiopia), but in the process, I also came across an American flag by the name of former Ethiopia NT manager Yohannes Sahle, which led to this confirmation: http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/32454784 It appears Sahle is a former Ethiopia NT player who moved to the US after retiring from playing, became a citizen, and then returned to Ethiopia in 2010 as technical director for the Ethiopian federation. His jobs since then have included U-17 NT coach, and U-20 NT coach, and he apparently spent 6 months coaching Dedebit FC in the Ethiopian Premier League before being appointed manager of the senior national team. Sahle was fired in April 2016. I haven't been able to find his whereabouts now, but it appears he turned down an offer to manage Kenyan club Tusker FC while he was coaching the Ethiopian NT. http://www.soka.co.ke/news/item/ethiopia-coach-yohannes-sahle-would-love-to-work-in-kenya
Sahle's career has not gone smoothly since October. In November he was hired for a second stint with Ethiopian Premier League club Dedebit FC, only to be sacked after just three games with a 1-1-1 record. http://www.thereporterethiopia.com/content/dedebit-fc-sacks-coach-yohannes Other stories about the firing suggest that there were serious disagreements between him and the board. Ethiosports doesn't have a lot of kind things to say about him -- this story makes him sound like an Ethiopian-American Jurgen Klinsmann: http://www.ethiosports.com/2017/01/...rness-a-review-of-2016-in-ethiopian-football/
Some coaching rumors: Several #EthPL sides are said to be interested in signing the Ethiopian born American coach Yohannes Sahle. Dire-Dawa Kenema, Hawassa Kenema and #EthPL champions Jimma Aba Jifar are at the front of the queue. pic.twitter.com/KVp4gu3CIL— Firew Asrat (@firew_asrat) August 3, 2018
TM says he's been coaching for Welwalo Adigrat University FC since 2018. The club is in Ethiopia's top tier.
