I suspect young Harry Kane wasn't this Harry Kane either. Inability to find the ball is typical for young players unless they are prodigies, and Keane wasn't a prodigy. Sargent kind of slowed down at Werder exactly because of that.
I just had a little time to see some highlights of the U.S. Open Cup How did Brandon Vazquez play?I have seen that he scored 4 goals in 2 games. Could he get some place in the U23 team? I remember that I had seen him with the U17 team in 2015 and he was a very physical player, currently how does he play?
He's been injured for most of the season. He was used out of position by Tata Martino. He was being used as a winger. de Boer is using him as a striker, and he's doing better, but he's barely played in for the first team or second team due to injury. I doubt he'll be able to get much playing time when Martinez is back from Copa America, but they are still in the Cup competition and he could get minutes until Martinez returns.
I found how Pepi played to be a bit odd. He does come back in other games I've seen him in. I wonder if Luchi tried to simplify it for him and told him to stay high and occupy the centerbacks.
The US Open Cup quarterfinals start tonight at 7:30 eastern Miles Robinson starts for Atlanta United with Brandon Vazquez on the bench. They host Saint Louis FC. Juan Pablo Torres starts for NYCFC who travel to Orlando. Parks and Haak are on the bench for NYCFC. Michel and Patino are on the bench for Orlando.

Parks is on for Torres. He's helped NYCFC take back control early in his appearance with poise playing through pressure off the dribble and delivery.
Jeremy Ebobisse starts for Portland who are on the road against LAFC. Marco Farfan is on the bench for Portland, while Josh Perez is on the bench for LAFC.
What's the deal.................with Marco Farfan? What's he played, 3 games for the Portland first team this season?
It seemed he regressed, but he started for them last weekend, and fared quite well. Not a big threat going fw, but defensively very aware, and good in possession. Reminiscent of his mentor Villafana, only a little more physically inclined. My guess is he starts again this weekend with another rotation. Maybe just needs consistent p.t. for a change that PDX have been so stingy with for domestic. Then if called back to the u-23's he can upgrade from his last shaky camp.
