Despite NYCFC giving up 3 goals, solid performance by Sands at CB.

(and what a beauty of a stadium MNUFC)

From what I saw Sands did well (I missed a chunk of the second half). There were a couple of times late were he had problems with Angelo Rodriguez strength. NYCFC switched to a back 4 for the second half.

DeJuan Jones starts for New England with Justin Rennicks on the bench. Miles Robinson starts for Atlanta.

Stoked to see Sands playing in the back. His ceiling is significantly higher there than in the midfield.

Durkin with a goal. Smart run seeing an opportunity to get forward and a great finish.

Held his run well not to be offside, and excellent technique on the strike.

Whoever is better between Moreno and canouse should start alongside durkin.

Durkin has the upside and natural talent to be a starter right now. Let’s hope he kills it in Poland and gets sold this summer. Huge potential.

Gonna guess it wasn't a coincidence at all that he got his first meaningful minutes of the year right after the article came out that he had been denied Bundesliga loans despite being parked on the bench haha. Wasn't doing anything to help MLS' problems with signing young and talented domestic players.
