Despite NYCFC giving up 3 goals, solid performance by Sands at CB. (and what a beauty of a stadium MNUFC)
From what I saw Sands did well (I missed a chunk of the second half). There were a couple of times late were he had problems with Angelo Rodriguez strength. NYCFC switched to a back 4 for the second half. DeJuan Jones starts for New England with Justin Rennicks on the bench. Miles Robinson starts for Atlanta.
Cannon, Cerrillo, Pomykal, and Ferreira start for FC Dallas. Roberts is on the bench. Ebobisse starts for Portland.

Yow on the bench After Video Review, the finish from @Jesusfcd27 stands!Hosts up 1-0. #DALvPOR https://t.co/vPCc4auVc1— Major League Soccer (@MLS) April 14, 2019
All starting- Sands. Robinson. Paxton. Jesus. Cerrillo. Vines. Bassett. Durkin. On bench- Roberts. Yow. With Aaronson and efra still to play. Tonight is shaping up nicely
Glad and Herrera start for RSL. Lennon and Saucedo on the bench. Benji Michel on the bench for Orlando.
Paxton Pomykal & Jesus Ferreira are one of the most exiting young duos I can recall in this league. Both playing well tonight for #FCDallas. Pomykal has been hitting some first-rate passes #FCDvPOR— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) April 14, 2019
Stoked to see Sands playing in the back. His ceiling is significantly higher there than in the midfield.
Aaronson and Trusty start for Philadelphia. McKenzie on the bench. Araujo on the bench for the Galaxy. Hamalainen, Brewer, and Josh Perez on the bench for LAFC. Amaya on the bench for Cincinnati.
Whoever is better between Moreno and canouse should start alongside durkin. Durkin has the upside and natural talent to be a starter right now. Let’s hope he kills it in Poland and gets sold this summer. Huge potential.
Gonna guess it wasn't a coincidence at all that he got his first meaningful minutes of the year right after the article came out that he had been denied Bundesliga loans despite being parked on the bench haha. Wasn't doing anything to help MLS' problems with signing young and talented domestic players.
