Marcos Llorente has been the most exciting one so far. He was man of the match in both matches for Alaves. One against Sporting and the other La Real.

Darn it! One of the moderators will have to take care of that.

Both Llorente's and Vallejo are the only ones I think will have a future in this club (from this batch of loanees)

Anyways, both Llorente's are on another level right now. Hope they can keep this up and challenge for a spot when they return.
    - I like Marcos because he's exactly what you want from a DM. Destroyer, energetic, press-resistance, creates plays from the back, intangibles, etc. Some of these qualities are things Casemiro doesn't have nor will ever have. Probably the best DM we've produced since de la Red.
    - I really like Diego Llorente. Strong build, fast, extremely mobile (isn't afraid to participate in build-up attacks) and aerial presence coupled with great technique and passing. I honestly think he can challenge for a spot next season.
    - I like Vallejo simply because he has the quality and makings of a legendary defender. Nesta-esque.

It's gonna be really great seeing which one of the latter two will accompany Varane in the future.

Interestingly enough, you forgot Omar Mascarell! He played almost the entire match for Frankfurt! Decent DM imo. Reminds me of Javi Garcia.

    Great thread idea!

Marcos and Diego Llorente seem to be the players that are furthest along in their development and most ready to contribute to our first team. They should be part of the squad next season.

I hope Vallejo and Mayoral get enough minutes this season. I'm especially hyped about Jesus Vallejo. I hope he can fulfill his potential.

I watched Marcos Llorente for Castilla just 2-3 times and said that he's a special player. Not saying that I said called it but I did :whistling: Some people were saying that it's only the third league etc,but his quality and class was obvious.

How come Alaves played on Saturday. No international break for them?

Marcos Llorente can be a starter for us. He looks a very tidy player with good defensive and passing attributes. Vallejo is another one that can make it big. He is mature beyond his age and looks so comfortable on the ball. All of these players are very talented but we should especially keep tabs on these two.

Was hugely impressed by m.Llorente during pre season. One of many reason i'm glad we didn't bring pogba. For a dm his passing and distribution ability is phenomenal. Hardly waste any time with the ball. Pretty accurate too. Already better than casemiro in these department imo.

Mayoral might actually have a chance at starting now that Bas Dost has been sold.

We have sold Medran with a buy back. He is another exciting prospect from Castilla. He was unfortunate to have been injured for so long at Getafe. Looks like he is on the up now with Valencia

Marcos Llorente: "I did not expect such a reception like this and connecting with the fans so quickly. My role here? Do the same thing I did at Castilla."

Mayoral: "I was already in talks with Wolfsburg. At first it was decided that I have my preseason with Real Madrid. Zidane was brilliant. Zidane wished me luck as did the entire team. They told me to enjoy my Wolfsburg experience." My dream is to return to Real Madrid's first team & for that I will have to succeed in Wolfsburg. I must do well here first.

I always enjoy watching ASENSIO and I've been fortunate to play with him. In addition to being a great player, ASENSIO is a great person and he deserves everything that's happening.

As a child I always noticed Raúl in Spain & at Real Madrid. He's a reference point for me."

Same here i have been following Valejo up close

Varane-Valejo will be legendary tandem for us.i am beyond happy for these two.they will be force to be reckoned with
Valejo reminds me a lot of Puyol tho.great stamina and agility.very strong on the ball.tireless fighter and technical at the same time
With Varane we would have two commanding CBs
Valejo is commanding CB something that we will need once Ramos is gone

The force is strong in the Llorente family.both kids are great.especially Marcos which i believe we will call him back in half season

Also Mayoral if we somehow keep this kid they can reunite with Morata and Mariano.man so much talent and much more to come

Great thread. For the first time in a long time, I truly feel like the Cantera will play a huge part in our future. We already have Casemiro as a starter (he originally came to Castilla so he counts :p). Morata is also a big part of the team.

Like others have posted, Marcos Llorente seems to be thriving in his team. I'll defintely be catching more of him from now on. I also wouldn't be surprised to see him recalled in January if something happens to Casemiro or the alternatives to him when he needs rest aren't working.

I honestly haven't seen him enough but people have been discussing him so I'm going to make a point to try and watch him play; if the fuss is justified we should all be happy.

Vallejo had a decent match today, nothing spectacular but did his job well.

Let's see how both Llorente's perform today.
