Not to mention that depending on other tournaments results, even the 8th place could qualify for Europa League.
If either Arsenal or Chelsea win the Europa League, the winner qualifies to UCL next year and the Europa League berths for 5th and 6th place go now to 6th and 7th. If City wins FA cup the EL berth spot goes to the next highly qualified team. I'm re-reading this and I'm not so sure about EPL sending 8 teams to Euro competitions, and they might end up with 5 UCL berths and 2 Europa League, so only the 7th place will earn a spot.
https://www.planetfootball.com/quic...wn-of-the-2017-18-premier-league-prize-money/ Good article on the breakdown for team revenues for the EPL. There's an equal share component along with revenue based on final season ranking and number of TV appearances. The twitter post mid-article lays it out in specific detail. Pretty fascinating - i'd be curious to know how similar/different the south american league models are for prize money distribution.
I don't know if you guys know this, but the promotion playoff is actually the most significant single event in the sport, at least money wise. http://www.espn.com/soccer/english-...league-richest-game-in-soccer-what-that-means England's top division is the wealthiest domestic league anywhere in the world and promotion into it brings a fortune unparalleled anywhere else in the sport. The Premier League guaranteed all shareholder clubs a minimum of £94.7m ($125.9m) this season, rising to £149.4m ($198.7m) for the winner, Manchester City. If a club drops from the top flight after only a single season up, the "parachute payment" aimed at softening the blow is worth £41.6m ($55.3m) in the first season out of the Premier League. Clubs that spend a second season out of the Premier League will earn a further £34.0m ($45.2m) from its distributions.

And just like that; falls on his face leading to a Spurs goal [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51] https://streamja.com/e1jO
He started again yesterday and his team won 1-0. When was the last time he started back-to-back club matches? It is nice to see.
Marco Silva is a fan of his, as long as Mina is healthy and Silva stays at Everton then he will be playing, can count on it.
I agree, very wrong. He doesn't need to score. What he needs is to not get injured. Kurt Zouma went back to Chelsea so its his job to keep. Everton is going to depend more on Mina this season.
