He was also involved in the third goal, the defender touched the ball with his hand to prevent Mina from heading it..

Sigurdsson and Digne both deliver a pretty good dead ball, I'd imagine that we'll see Mina get a lot of goals on set pieces once they figure out their set pieces.

He is the best header that I have ever seen, no kidding. For a defender at least.

Earlier they had him drifting towards the left. Now they have him drifting towards the right.

    Interesting.

For attackers, Borgetti, Mueller, Klose, CR7, Pele and Bierhoff. For defenders, Ramos, Pasarella and Hierro.

Mina will get there, he's young, tall and athletic; his goals so far have been mostly on raw power and the ability to out-jump most of his adversaries. but as he matures and gets more technical with his headers, I have no doubt that your statement will be almost indisputably correct.

He is the best Colombian I have ever seen head the ball that is for sure.

Falcao and Angel were also very good but rarely got good crosses during National team games.

He also likes to score with his feet too. There's a few of those he did at Palmeiras and Santa Fe.

I have said it before and I will say it a million more times. He is such a presence in the areas both offensively and defensively. I hope the new manager considers calling him up no matter what his club form is.
He just provides positives and characteristics the other CB's can't provide

Remember the World Cup where Mina was a starter from the 2nd to the 4th game and he scored in every single game? I think it is very impressive for a defender and I'm sure his offensive skill will help Colombia a lot. I am biased because he played for my team and I liked him so much, but I keep thinking his heading skill is the best that I've ever seen for a defender, always dangerous positioning and finishing.

There is heading technique and on that I'm not sure but effectiveness in the air with his height and athleticism he's up there for sure, he's basically a basketball player's build playing soccer and just not many people in the game that can defend him in the air.

He wants it more. Guy is a leader. He needs to build his confidence in the UK before we'll fully see it, but with our nt is just so clear that the dude is the alpha.

He's a big personality 100%, you can see it even in his first games with Everton he's already looking to get on the ball as much as possible and is mixing it up with opponents and not backing down an inch. He shares those qualities with the best CB's in the world and you see with Colombia he's always jumped right in and been a big player because of that personality, the guy is a fighter on the pitch and we definitely saw that this summer.

Mina subbed off on 63 minutes with Everton down a man and Mina on a yellow. Not his best game, was a bit too anxious to jump in a few times, which seems to be his biggest weakness needs to be a bit more patient and not jump in so quick.

Another day off for Mina...wait.....93rd minute appearance.

was hoping to see him and Lerma square off

The impenetrable force meets the immovable object.

can't blame Everton really. Zouma - Keane pairing have been playing really well together and that's one position that's tough to rotate and expect consistency.

Not saying this goal was Mina’s fault, but he’s gotta be more aware of his surroundings and not crash into his own teammates.

True. As long as he doesn’t steam roll over teammates like JFQ and Uribe, I’ll be happy

i dont foresee mina remaining in everton either after the summer
bad luck for him because he is a good player. those moves to really big clubs can be detrimental in the long run for a player
