By video, hyperextends his knee. Worry for ACL tear. https://t.co/Z4vyYN02mY— David J. Chao - ProFootballDoc (@ProFootballDoc) August 11, 2018
Goff fwiw. DeAndre Yedlin will undergo further testing Sunday on his injured knee. Initial indications are that it's not the ACL but could be other ligaments. More to come in coming day or two. #usmnt #nufc #magpies— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) August 11, 2018
ACL can for sure, due mostly, I think, to invasive nature of surgery. Depends on the procedure and how lucky you are in rehab.
Something tells me it’s a bad sign that we haven’t heard anything yet. “Scans are all negative” is an easy press release to write.
Was reading the Newcastle forums, man they don't like Yedlin. He's going to be out for a while, that's all they know. They seem quite happy to get Manquillo there.
That's not consistent with what I've seen on twitter. The general sentiment is that Yedlin isn't great, but Manquillo is even worse
I would bet dollars to donuts that a survey of NUFC fans who actually watch games prefers DY to Manquillo. I would also bet they would love an upgrade over DY as well. But Manquillo is not generally popular among NUFC fans.
The receipts! (Send some donuts my way...) https://www.themag.co.uk/2018/05/as...-season-interesting-results-newcastle-united/
