funny you posted this - many people will say Yedlin's crossing ability isn't all that, but I saw him put a nice cross in the match vs City - it caused mad problems with the Citeh backline & IMHO Newcastle's best chance in the match - If you recall, Nicolas Otamendi cleared Rolando Aaron's chipped effort off the line - that was a result from Yedlin's cross
I don't think Yedlin is a bad crosser, just an inconsistent one. That said, hitting good crosses is one of the harder, and more under-appreciated skills in soccer. The few who can do it consistently are usually among the game's best players.
It's the exchange. Before Brexit the EPL only had 12 teams. By the way, why am I always in London when there are no good yank games in the city?
What teams wanted him after the World Cup besides Spurs? I joined the site after the cup but I didn't become a regular poster till much later.
would anyone be interested in me making a "every touch" clip video for every Yedlin game and post it on here?..Not sure whether it'd be legal with the copyright stuff.
Good, he's earned a rest. Not even in the squad, which I will choose to see as Rafa viewing him a s a priority for rest. And with Lascelles coming off at 31" I wonder if Rafa will wish he'd rested more.
I read this as "Looks like no D..." so it made me think of "...I give her that D, cause that's where I was born n raised in.."
TEAM NEWS: Here's how Newcastle United will line up against @SwansOfficial at St. James' Park this afternoon (kick-off 3pm GMT). #NUFC pic.twitter.com/CSF1bibz5R— Newcastle United FC (@NUFC) January 13, 2018 Starts vs Swansea
Yedlin played 90 minutes against Swansea in a 1-1 draw and was rated MOTM via Fotmob at 7.7 which led all players. The match was probably not watched by many because of the new NBC subscription policy. That is unfortunate.
Superb today, with two clearances at the line plus a couple of crucial tackles. One of his best games IMO.
The most suspenseful part in England is always the relegation battle, the league winner is usually known two or three games before the end, although this season it's probably going to be earlier, City is having its way. Of course, with the Bundesliga, you know who's going to win it the day the league starts.
Been following Stoke since Edu and I love the drama of a good relegation scrap even if the soccer is poor.
Imma gonna climb the limb here and predict Everton is in the EPL in the fall of 2018... Call me cra-cra...
