They no longer have the other EPL games streaming for free on the NBC Sports app? That does stink to charge another fee to stream those. I already pay extra for the upgraded sports package to get NBCSports at all.
Does anyone have a link to a replay of the Stoke game? Also, what happened to Geoff? Is he hurt? thanks
Can go fourth. Man people hate Rafa but I see him as the first true modern manager to grasp financial realities in the EPL / CL world. This man won a championship with Hesky and Yossi Benyidhun for goodness sakes. I hope they go top 6 for the year.
which championship was that? The Champions league? Heskey only won a League cup with Liverpool if I believe. Yossi won nothing.
Maybe the cup competition pre-Europa League? I dont know though, you're not exactly asking a poster known to have much of a clue as to what he's talking about.
Brighton boss says that Tomer Hemed's late-game stamp on Yedlin was an accident. "Accident", my ass. Embedded video at the link shows Hemed making zero effort not to sink his spikes into Yedlin's leg.
These guys are world class athletes. They don’t put a foot wrong in that sort of situation. I think it was more of a heat of the moment, sending a message type of situation than a malicious, injury-seeking type of situation, but a ban would be deserved nonetheless.
I thought it was a payback foul for that flip earlier. Or am getting my foul order confused? I was not sure it was purposeful until I saw the angle that had him looking directly to the referee after.
Yeah I thought the stomp was payback for that foul that Hemed thought Yedlin was targeting him on a header on. Hemed definitely stomped on him, what a dirty bitch.
Tomer Hemed ends up with a 3 game ban. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-to-serve-three-match-ban-for-violent-conduct As for Yedlin, it seems he did not sustain a serious injury and he is expected back for the game vs Liverpool on Sunday.
Starts against Liverpool and will be defending against two of the few players in the world who can match him for pace in Salah and Mane. 19th min Yedlin made an awesome diagonal run from the top of the defensive third back into the PA to intercept Salah who outran his own defender onto a through ball. Good attacking play by Pool; better defensive play with fantastic speed by DY.
That was ridiculous. I thought salah was fast but Yedlin covered more ground and was noticeably faster than Salah, even considering salah had the ball. I would love to see Yedlin play Auba sometime.
I listened to the first half on the radio in my car with the English Talksport broadcasters. Initially they characterized Deandre as "Newcastle's undisciplined right back", but midway through the first half they were gushing over his "outstanding defence".
Only saw the 2nd half, but he defended well and showed off that speed by stymying Moreno a number of times, and keeping Coutinho in relative check. Didn't get a chance to get forward much as Newcastle looked content for the draw. Most importantly, he looks healthy and got out of the game unscathed so that should send Graham MF Zusi to the bench.
