The raiders were probably just Sunderland and 'Boro fans.

the raids seem to have been well-timed and coordinated, so couldn't have anything to do with Sunderland

Newcastle 3-0, and tops the league thanks to Aston Villa heroics: they managed to tie Brighton at the end with 10 men 1-1.

Yedlin is going to be an EPL RB/W again! Now we find out of Bobby can help his club avoid relegation with three to play.

The Villa-Brighton game was broadcast, and it was fun to watch. Villa fought as if their only objective was frustrating Brighton. They were reduced to 10 men and got scored on the penalty resulting from that action. After that, they played like they should have played the whole season if they wanted back in the big money. What a game.

Now I'm no expert, but 4 key passes from a RB is okay I guess

Anyone know how many Americans have won the League Championship before?

I know Convey and Hahnemann did it with Reading back in 2006. I think Eddie Lewis might have won it with Fulham back in 2000, but I'm not sure he would have made enough appearances that season to win any silverware if there was such a requirement. Anybody I'm missing?

I don't think Eddie had enough appearances IIRC.
But he did become "the American Beckham" at this time as well,so really, which is the bigger deal?

Also, I think it's safe to say Yedlin made the right choice dropping down a division. Now he's integrated into a team that will be playing Premier League football next season and has Rafa Benitez as his manager.
