And I actually don't know why Pique came out public with that. Is it to show Neymar they tried ? Because if you show you're willing to do that, PSG will surely be still asking a high price come next transfer window if the club still "wants" to get Neymar. My conclusion is that Barca has given up (or were never serious to begin with).

Maybe to make himself look good. Like he's willing to sacrifice something for the good of the club. But as I said earlier, its actually just the opposite =>Trading hope for success after Pique/Messi retire to increase chances of glory now. Pure selfish/dick move.

Lets be honest. Pique is not the brightest.

Well ... if such move occurred, and it worked out, it's good for the club. On the field at least. Financially I don't know. Probably not good even if Barca would win a treble.

He’s smart af though, but dude is trying to make himself look good here. The entire team have given up besides committed people like De Jong, Ter Stegen, Suarez and Messi.

Why good on the field? We still would have to pay their salaries. Just delayed a few years when we'll be desperate to fill the gaping Messi hole.

Arguably, lack of world class players isn't even the issue right now. I mean, just bought two of them.

By on the field I mean winning titles. I don't see it as selfish financially. It's just not selfless and if they want Neymar back that bad, they should be selfless. But like I said, I didn't want to see the move. Seems to me players are trying to call the shots too much and that is a recipe for disaster.

Lack of world class players no, but players that don't fit yeah. If Neymar wasn't injured so much, he'd be a much better fit than Griezmann.

Willian has revealed that last season Barca did make a serious offer to sign him but Chelseas rejected it. He goes out of contract this coming summer ...

He’s still twice as fast as Rakitic and better at just about every aspect of midfield play ll

Unfortunately, in Spain pace isn't enough to dominate a league like it is in England.

He’s still got the good skill levels and great shot plus he’s energetic .. he’s a level or two up on Raki and Roberto , for sure ..

Rakitic only started one match this season so not sure how relevant your comparison is, or why you're still obsessing over Raki. Might as well compare Willian to Bojan while you're at it.

Come to think of it, its strange that Barca isn't light years better now by not playing Rakitic so much this season.

Well if we can’t get Firmino , Trent Arnold , Kieta , Fabinho and VVD off Liverpool then let’s get Leicester’s trio of Çağlar Söyüncü , Ndidi and Ricardo (RB)

For the life of me I've never understood why Real Madrid, Bayern, Juventus or Man City didn't pry Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta and Messi off Barca.

Alena has joined Tello, Kaptoum and Bartra at Real Betis, on loan until the end of the season.

best of luck to him, hope he comes back stronger than ever.
