Neymar deal looks dead. Confirmed by his entourage. First time Neymar gets a no if so. He should take note ... Dembele, who doesn't look like the brightest guy in the world, said no to going to PSG (if true) at an age before his peak.

This story of him taking 20m out of his pocket is pretty transparent. How much do Barca owe him for that loyalty bonus ? 26m ? :whistling:

He was going to look good in the fans eyes to pay his way out to play at Barca. Tricky.

What an utter farce the whole Neymar saga has been, on top of which we are stuck with a useless manager who is sucking the life out of the club.

It is indeed a farce especially as we could/should have used all that time , effort and money trying to get Firmino instead .

    Firmino is absolutely overrated.

Problem is we are going to get our arses handed to us again in the CL by either Man City or Liverpool. Another year gobe and no chance in the CL. Plus Valverde will probably get a pay rise and new contract .

He's an excellent player but the idea that Barca would have stood any chance of signing him from Liverpool in this transfer window is delusional. Knowing our board they would have offered £250 million for him and Valverde wouldn't hsve picked him.

Thank god the Neymar saga is over. Honestly I think it's been looming over the locker room for the last few weeks. Hope Dembele and Rakitic still feel part of the group. The management is making the club lose face. Our CL collapses plus our desperation to get Neymar... We are becoming a laughingstock.

Only one team is 5 points up and they have not looked great so far.

There is a chance that Rakitic will move to Juve tomorrow.

Rafinha is expected to extend his contract (was going to expire next summer), then join Celta Vigo on a one year loan with no purchase option.

hopefully he has a great season. Celta should be fun to watch with Rafinha and Denis joining the likes of Aspas and Santi Mina.

A little bit of key season ahead of us. Many individuals at a point of their (Barca) career in which they need to have a good year, or likely it's over.

Dembele, Suarez, Rakitic, Valverde. Others too.

I believe in us. This is going to be a successful season. We have problems, like all teams, but we can overcome them. Visca Barca!

Rafinha has looked three times better than Rakitic this season and we let Rafinha go out on loan to a competitor..

Nice having him around for the start of every season before we eventually loan him out. Actually why can't we just loan him out for the early parts of the season and just have him back for the business end? Seems more ideal than just getting total newcomers every January.

Rafinha is not the answer. He is more aggressive with the ball than Rakitic sure, but he is an average player.
