Tillmann came on in the 90th minute of Germany's waxing of the Netherlands today, so if there was any chance, even slight, that he might still have been eligible for our U20s, I figure it's gone unless there's some asterisk in UEFA's rules that suggests that only the UEFA U19 finals (the actual regional U20 qualifying competition) actually counts...

Germany, however, ended up not making the Finals -- Norway won the group and moved on -- and so I believe this also means they won't be at the next FIFA U20s. So TT's GYNT career is presumably over for a while.

there was another one where FIFA was considering making a compensation scheme, where if players play for a NT for years and years throughout the levels. Then If that player switches, the other country has to compensate the original team. Although not sure how countries will see this idea.

He also had several YNT appearances for Spain, though I don't know if any of them were in cap-tying competitions. Anyone know?

If they were, and they let him switch, it would be a pretty big can of worms opened up.

I believe he played in U19, U21 ECQ but don't think he ended up playing in any tournaments.

He played in a European Championship qualifier for the full team.

Spain and Morocco are in the same group as well.

It's not hard to imagine a scenario where this is continually reformed in the players' favor to at least some degree. (Would anyone really care that much if all YNT appearances were ultimately ruled nonbinding? I figure people would get over it.) But at some point, you gotta think there's a line.

Balogun is definitely playing for England U17s though I haven’t seen an official roster. #20 I believe.

Balogun just subbed out, but he’s now provisionally tied to England if he wasn’t already.
