Jordan Schweitzer is with the Canada U23s: Octavio Zambrano has a "W" from his first match in charge of Canada Soccer's Men's National Team Program. Zambrano and team led Canada to a 1:0 victory over Uzbekistan in the first of two matches at a U-23 series in Qatar. Caniggia Elva was the goalscorer just before the hour mark. Captain and goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau posted the clean sheet while Jordan Schweitzer earned man of the match honours. http://www.canadasoccer.com/canada-earns-gritty-1-0-win-over-uzbekistan-in-u-23-series-p160677 http://canadasoccer.com/index.php?t=project&sid=1194

Wan Kuzain Wan Kamal is being pursued by Malaysia's U23 coach, but it sounds like he hasn't made a decision yet. http://www.hmetro.com.my/node/217346 He has been invited, reportedly, to join the team for the 2018 AFC U23 Championship qualifiers in July and the 2017 Southeast Asian Games (soccer is U23) in August. His father is quoted as saying that playing at the SEA Games would run afoul of NCAA regulations. I'm pretty sure that's not true, so he's either confused or this is an innovative BS excuse for kicking the NT decision can down the road. Not knowing much about Malaysia's languages, I'm curious if anyone knows the appropriate way to shorten his name is - Kuzain or Wan Kamal or something else?
Here's how SKC does it: International: Wan Kamal represented the U.S. Under-17 National Team in 2015.
But are they saying "Wan Kuzain" is his full name or his full first name? When I started his YA thread years ago, a number of outlets (including U.S. Soccer) referred to him as "Wan Kuzain." Doesn't mean they were correct necessarily, of course. https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/dutch-opportunity-for-wan-kuzain.2000540/
It looks like they use "Wan Kuzain" as his last name and are using the stylebook's "on second quoting..." approach. Look at this chart, which shows "Wan Kuzain" in the column with other family names: https://www.sportingkc.com/academy/teams/u18

According to the Wikipedia roster page, Romero, Gomez (listed as "Barillas"), Saravia and Cerritos are on the El Salvador U17 squad. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_CONCACAF_U-17_Championship_squads?src=wpstubs&tour=firstedit
On the Jamaica squad are 3 Yanks: Kendall Edwards (Parkview HS) Damani Osei (Cosby HS) Coby Atkinson (American Heritage) All 3 are confirmed dual citizens and captured in this thread previously. Jeremy Verley is a scholarship student at Milton Academy and came from Jamaica to attend school. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_CONCACAF_U-17_Championship_squads#Jamaica
I think the "Blake Whit" that is on wikipedia is actually Blake White who, last time I checked, was with AUFC
Another of those "would you consider a call?" articles: [Marco Farfan] already wonders if he could be called to the United States team, but obviously with Mexican parents Farfán would have the option of playing for Mexico. He has played some friendly with the U-19 of the United States, but says that he would not rule out playing with El Tricolor. "It's difficult to answer that question. It's a very important and very personal decision. I do not know. It would be an honor to play one day with the United States team, but if you call me Mexico, I would have to consider it. Let's see how are things going". http://www.marca.com/claro-mx/futbol-internacional/mls/2017/04/18/58f559fa468aeb01218b45b3.html (in Spanish)
From the tone of that article I find it hard to believe he'll be included in the U20 world cup squad. Otherwise he might have said something like "USA has been in contact with me recently..."
There's been some discussion/speculation that his rise within the pool has been so late that he didn't make the provisional squad. I mean, he's never been called up to the U20s. [Don't get me wrong. I want him on this squad. I just don't think its gonna happen.] Surely he's not going to be called up by Mexico's U20s this late either. So basically we're looking at the next U23 cycle with Marco, which starts the second the U20WC ends as far as I'm concerned. I'm not really worried about this one. If we want him, which we should, we'll make our move.
If we want him?! Our U20 should want him right now. He's a starting LB for one of the better teams in MLS and has more D1 professional minutes than anyone in our pool. You damn right we want him and that should be right NOW. This attitude of 'we'll get around to it when we get around to it' doesn't cut it with a dual national who's already expressed interest in our bitter rival.
