Well ... Cuban talks a good game but generally all he does is tarde away decent players for disappearing salary slots so he can get a superstar to sign in free agency except ... they never have ever for him. He didn't even give the title winning team a shot at repeating. He traded half the team and the replacements were a lot worse while he waited for the magic free agency fairy to grant him a wish.

I've been advocating using the LON matches as cap-tying opportunities. Dest would be right up at the top of my list.

I mean, he did go out and get Doncic and Porzingis in the last year...

I skipped? He skipped past it real quick. Traded the best center they ever had for the chance to win a unicorn? Dirk deserved better than the teammates Cuban provided him at the end. BTW, he just did it again and traded their highest scoring player during the last season to make another grab at a superstar free agent. Ended the same way it always does.

Wikipedia has all of those players, except for Lang, listed on the first team.

So, assuming wikipedia is accurate, I guess the answer is there is one other player not already on the first team who is getting minutes in these friendlies, although it appears that Dest is getting a lot more minutes.

Dest was impressive in how he battled back in the u20's. The guy is a competitor.

Dest went 90 at LB in a friendly win against Watford.

  11. Those are the players that toggled between Young Ajax and the first team selection, so not really first team players. They all might become full first team selection players this season though.

Matt Polster starts for Rangers in their Europa League qualifying game yesterday. Yes, the real games have started. The fans seem to have liked his performance.

Chicago were never the same after Polster went down. Lost all shape. Great player. Bad injury. Hope he can make it.

I'll never forget bballs shawn's post where he said "if Polster gets called up to the USMNT, I don't know what I'll do".

    Gotta love the dedication.

What position is he playing at RB or CDM?

He’s too slow to be an international quality fullback.

Glad to see he got an assist but he’s got to finish those.

Didn't realize he had grown so much. I was expecting him to be closer to his dad's height.

Yup. His touch let him down but he's still getting used to the increased speed of the game.

Still, it's pretty awesome that a 16 yo is getting this much time, even though they are only pre-season friendlies.

He should have scored that, but he didn't look out of place like at all.

Haji Wright last year didn't look like he belonged on a Bundesliga field.

Leyva, on the right, is listed at 5'10". Gio's a 6-footer, unless he's standing on something
