I like "Sic Boy" or just "Sic" as a nickname. These things can't be forced, but I hope one of these catches on.

I am guessing Pulisic, I am also hoping someone somewhere can come up with something better than Sic Boy.

Shawn Parker got a game at Nuremburg and apparently scored a goal in a 5-4 loss.

I literally had no idea that he was there buutttt, hey, its something!

few other notes about der club, Schafer is still their keeper (I am completely bewildered how he is still a starter), and early in the season they are at the foot of the table. don't recognize any of the names anymore, but its apparently Parker's second appearance for FCN, we missed the first one.

What does the 10 stand for?

This one is to close to CD9 or MB90.

10, his jersey number. Have you ever heard of the basketball player CP3? How about CP10?

He would be confused with Cameron Porter.

I like Welsh as much as the next guy, but reusing his nicknames, and one for a rather shady character, seems a bit off point.

But we have Orozco, Besler and Birnbaum, so I see no point in calling him in.

Those are three different levels of footballer.

Carter-Vickers is still a long way off of our best 23. He really struggled last October in U-23 qualifying against Alberth Elis of Honduras. Not because Elis was so much more talented, instead because Carter-Vickers was still naive. He didn't really understand how to play against CONCACAF players at the U-23 level, he certainly isn't ready to play at the senior level without any pro games. Lets wait until Carter-Vickers plays a number of pro games before he's considered for the NT, especially at our best position.

If he weren't a dual national, I would totally agree with you. Because he is, I think it would be wise to incorporate him soon.

Timing is tough though. He is just trying to break in now, so calling him up for the October friendlies is dicey. And they wouldn't cap tie him anyway. Meanwhile even if we brought him in for the November qualifiers, he'd be unlikely to play due to the quality of the opposition. Last year when Klinsmann could sub Miazga into a qualifier we had well in hand to cap tie him. Such an opportunity is unlikely to present itself against Mexico or Costa Rica.

Hopefully he starts to get time for Tottenham and does well. If he does I think we need him on the Gold Cup squad at the latest or we could risk losing him to England.

Klinsmann needs to be able to read the situation.

If he thinks he might switch to England, obviously try to call him up to the November friendlies, and permanently cap-tie him, if you can. Even just calling him into October friendlies would be good, even though its not cap-tying, it at least proves to him that he's in the picture.

If Klinsmann doesn't read the situation that Carter-Vickers is a risk to switch to England, you wait it out, until he's ready.

How would a November friendly cap-tie him?
