    The U17 CONCACAF qualifiers start today.

    One thing I've learned in the years at looking at official FIFA rosters is to ignore the "birthplace" column as it was never anything but the home country. But CONCACAF threw me a curve when I noticed 2 US players were listed as "Germany" and that's not where there clubs are. Whoever did the Wikipedia rosters for the tourney only listed the current club, so I have both lists combined below.

    * = US born player

    Bermuda:
    (I omitted the number of players at US private schools. Guess that's the route for many of their players)
    Leilanni Nesbeth *

    Mexico:
    Reyna Reyes *
    Nicole Soto *
    Vanessa Buso *
    Nayeli Diaz

    Haiti:
    Danielle Etienne
    Milan Pierre Jerome

    Costa Rica:
    Kyana Calvo *

    Interesting comment from Daphne Corboz on French tv tonight. She said she was told she would no longer be selected for the USA youth teams if she signed up for Man City instead of playing in the NWSL
