An Amanda Da Costa profile: http://www.ourgamemag.com/2017/07/26/dacosta-realizing-dream-portugal/ “It’s been so good,” she said. “Everyone has been really welcoming since I came over here. A lot do speak English which is good, good and bad, I almost wish nobody spoke to English so I could learn Portuguese quicker! “But I’m doing a lot of work learning it, I’ve got to experience first-hand the culture that runs in my family, which has been an amazing experience. It’s really unique being able to do it through soccer, I don’t know if I would have got this opportunity otherwise. It’s been the decision I’ve made.” Always aware of her Portuguese heritage, it wasn’t a difficult decision for DaCosta to make the move. “I guess it was after the first NWSL season when I started to wonder about it,” she admitted. “It was realizing I was at a point in my life where I’d want something new after soccer and that I hadn’t fulfilled everything as a soccer player. “I couldn’t ever move on with my life if I didn’t try hard to do that. Being with the USA up to 23 was amazing, I’d experienced it for ten years but I wanted more. I envisioned playing in the Euros for Portugal when I was younger so it was time to take it to the next level.” “Both my parents are Portuguese, they didn’t force me to speak the language but I wish they did. I’m so mad at them, I wish they had and I tell them all the time,” she laughed.

Danielle Schulmann's Wikipedia page hints at call-up(s) from the Israeli NT, but can't find any confirmation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danielle_Schulmann It's possible she doesn't have the qualification to play for them as her father, who is Jewish, wasn't born in Israel. No idea about her grandparents. Assuming that the FIFA rules consider this a citizenship from birth, she'd be eligible after 2 years in country.
