An American born & raised Argentina international whom I hadn't heard of before goes to Australia: https://www.footballtoday.news/features/essendon-royals-signs-argentina-international-gaby-garton Argentine international, Gabriela (Gaby) Garton, will be playing in Australia next year after signing with the Essendon Royals senior women's team that competes in the State League 2 North-West. The American born goalkeeper has dual nationality thanks to her Argentinean mother. Garton made her way through the US college system playing for South Florida Bulls and Texas College Rice Owls, and trialled in Argentina after she graduated from college as a sociologist. A member of Argentina’s 2019 FIFA Women’s’ World Cup squad, with two senior caps to her name, Garton represents a real coup for the Royals. She has previously played for Argentinean heavyweights River Plate and UAI Urquiza, and earned her first senior cap for Las Albicelestes in 2015 during the Pan American Games in Toronto.
