http://www.oregonlive.com/portland-thorns/2017/05/us_soccer_reportedly_files_tam.html U.S. Soccer reportedly files tampering complaint following Lyon's attempt to pursue Allie Long U.S. Soccer has filed a formal tampering complaint against Lyon owner Jean-Michel Aulas over his pursuit of Portland Thornsmidfielder Allie Long, according to a report from Sport Illustrated's Grant Wahl.
I don't understand, Portland should file the complaint not US Soccer, the players belong to Portand surely, not to US Soccer?
USWNT players never sign contracts with the teams directly, only with the federation. The fed then allocates them to the teams. Of course, even if contracted to the team, the fed could complain on their behalf.
Equalizer update on Yanks in Europe. Here are the ones not previously covered: After two years out with a serious knee injury, FC Rosengard welcomed back Erin McLeod between the pipes as she kept a clean sheet for her Swedish club at home to Gothenburg. Wife Ella Masar McLeod also scored twice in the match to make it a good day for the Masar McLeods, but it wasn’t such a good day for Savannah Levin and Sarah Teegarden, who were in the Gothenburg side. It wasn’t a great day for American pair Becky Edwards and goalkeeper Brett Maron of Kristianstad who suffered a late home loss to league leaders, Linkoping. In Norway, U.S trio Michelle Betos, Elise Krieghoff and Stephanie Verdoia are still searching for their first win after a 2-2 draw with Trondheims, while there was better news for keeper Alyssa Giannetti, whose Arna Bjornar side won 2-1 at Roa. But spare a thought for UC Santa Barbara graduate Savannah Francis, who was on the end of a 9-1 defeat with her club Grand Bodo by league leaders and champions Lillestrom. http://equalizersoccer.com/2017/05/12/north-americans-abroad-a-trophy-for-alex/

Morgan's injury. The sudden pull-up doesn't look good, but hopefully its only a mild strain: 863407111103008769 is not a valid tweet id

After she scores to make it 3-0 in the first half, effin Carli Lloyd runs AWAY from her team mates and not toward the player that made the outstanding cross and assist. 863437693157560320 is not a valid tweet id

She's just going to the corner flag And that cross, while pinpoint, was a 30m hoof-and-trust into space, not an eye-contact kind of pass. Bergkamp didn't run toward Davids, either

IMO Lloyd's goal was not such a dramatic moment that it warranted the corner flag run and slide.Go up by 3 goals, congratulate your team mates and get back to the center circle.
If it was in a regular season game or a friendly, I'd agree. But its the FA Cup final at Wembley. Every goal is something to celebrate in a final, and its not every day that you get to play at Wembley!
