From the World Cup thread 2015: Had a dream that the Women's World Cup this summer was postponed due to an igloo flu epidemic that was going around in Canada, and it was later rescheduled as a double-header tournament in 2019 in France, and then the first of the two WWC's in 2019 would be backtracked to 2015 as engraved on the trophy. Having two WWC's in back to back months would be weird, but 2019 was going to be loaded with tournament play all summer long. Abby Wambach had also announced that she would play in both tournaments if the US qualifies for the 2nd tournament in 2019, and she was already given a permanent roster spot on the 23 player roster, 4 years ahead of time. Actually, we're not all that far from this becoming a possibility now. Mexico will be looking for new leadership. Maybe it's time they bring in Ker-POWELL, to provide some HOPE.
