    With rumors of additional teams added (i.e. Ptiisburgh), you would think the WPSL would make some announcement, at least on their web site.

    Site still lists only four teams on the East Coast (3 are former W-League teams):

    * Maryland Pride (former W-League team)
    * Rhode Island Rays (former W-League team)
    * New York Vendeval
    * New England Mutiny (Old Springfield Sirens of the W-League)

    Cleveland could be a site for a team in the near future (for either the W-League or WPSL), with Clev. getting the rights to an MLS team. Could compliment nicely the two new teams in Michigan in the W-League.

    I can't seem to find the link, but I had read that there would be a team in Pittsburgh. It's actualy about an hour north of Pittsburgh near Newcastle. I think the name was the Pittsburgh Sparks.

    Also Rhode Island is listed in the W-League for this upcoming season.

    Bob, you're somewhat right. An outfit in New Castle is putting up a WPSL team called the Steel City Sparks, and they will play their home games at 5 sites in New Castle, Youngstown, Butler, and the North Hills. Indeed, no website yet.

    Re: Pittsburgh

    Same organization that was in the WPSL last year or a new one? If the same I am surprised the USL took them back.

    There have been several updates including a partial roster

    Most of the home games will be at Pine Richland or Plum High School stadiums
