If Lazio overcomes Napoli in the quarterfinal, we would be playing three derbies in a week. What would you rather have, three derbies to smash Lazio or Napoli to avoid the physical and mental strain on the players?
I don't really care to be honest. However it is always fun to smash the dirty laziale and getting an extra 2 chances to do that would be nice. Also the merda is not as good as Napoli which isn't saying much.
3 derbies in february would be too much....... think about the tension the players will feel. I'd rather face NaBoli
Lazio on paper is obviously the weaker opponent but derbies usually don't depend on form much. Plus the attention and drama that comes with playing Lazio will distract us and drain us mentally from Seire A. As much I'd love to have the chance to beat them two times more, I prefer Napoli.
no disrespect to Napoli but i hope they lose so we can play Lazio, show them that they didnt deserve to win the coppa
3 derbies in two weeks. I don't think there is enough police/military in Italy to handle that. I pick Napoli. The Lazio game will just be messy and will take our minds off 2nd place.

No question, bring on the scum of the earth. If we face Lazio in the Coppa, that week will be the highlight of the season. Beating them 4 times in 1 season will be revenge for the Coppa defeat last year, and will be the final argument in the Roma/Lazio debate in Rome for years to come. This season, we are hands down the stronger team and I am fully confident we can pull of three in a row. Nothing would make me feel better than seeing a full Curva Sud, cheering on the Gladiators, 3 times in one week, and hearing Grazie Roma each time. By the 3rd game they will be lucky to have any fans show up. Our boys need to get used to intense pressure, considering at this time next year I fully expect us to be challenging for Lo Scudetto and competing in the round of 16 CL. Nothing like 3 derbies in 1 week to get them used to that. Baptism by fire. We will tear that merda to shreds all 3 games. If you have ever seen Green Street Hooligans when the Hammers fans draw Milwall, that will be me if Lazio wins vs Napoli. Forza Roma Sempre! Nothing gets me going like my hatred for the Fogna di Roma.
But think for a second what it will mean if we lose? Which is a possibility, it is football after all. It could basically destroy all the good work we have done this season. Losing the coppa was painful enough, having to live it in less than a year will be thousand times worse. Too much at stake, not worth it just for pride. We will have plenty of chances to beat them in the future.
