They were employees of the company, its a longer story but I wasn't impressed. Same people have been back too.
Well, that sucks. I walked past the BBQ and the curds "truck stands" on Saturday at 6:45 PM and there were zero people at both stands. There were lines at all other stands. I felt badly for the people behind the counter. I'm sure that the companies are losing money. But, if the employees are not providing good customer service, they have no one to blame but themselves.
Lack of lines there is the number one reason I go there... quick beer access and good brisket sandwich with no line at halftime
I may try this crap service with no lines you speak of. When I've tried the concourse stuff, I find I'm behind *^#%%*++{ing parents asking little $&@($&/@&$ing Timmy if he wants a hot dog or a pretzel. How the $&@$());&(@(/):!!!! do you not know what you want after 10 minutes behind the previous @&$$&@@$)8888223;$&)@?!?!?!? Huh? That crap service is my kind of service. All I ask is they're either unpaid volunteers or they help themselves to my change. Also, if you're a premium ticket holder, apparently when you fill out a survey negatively you get quick responses. I've been offered upgraded parking and weekday use of the helipad.
My Nexus game must be weak. Every survey for 8 years has been negative, but I have never even heard a peep. Can we get Geiger handing out a red card Bobble head?
I quit paying for a few years and then came back at a higher level. Also, trying being an ass but at the same time leading with "I'm really not an ass", to show sincerity. Highlight their own promotions,"I have difficulty seeing the benefits of being a premium member when all and sundry can gain access to the club for a mere donation of loyalty points. Perhaps I'd be better off in the corner next year." I didn't say this but have fun with it. Use your words.
That's the same self-righteous cocky intern that did the tone deaf "stop tweeting and practice" bit when we were in the thick of the losing streak.
Hey, we've finally got a Pride Night (Wed. July 26 against Columbus)! My franchise-induced rage has been reduced from a rolling boil to a nice simmer. They better not F this up.
Most season ticket holders they have ever had. however...... They offer a 12 month payment plan. That's right. All year. And the cheapest tix are like 600 per seat. I fully expect to see a ton of these back in circulation
During the Draft ESPN said that the 76ers expect to sell out nearly every home game this season.... Union missed their golden chance
Yep, they sure did. Attendance for the sixers wasn't terrible last year either. I freaking love the sixers. Even have an Ai tattoo
I don't think there's a zero sum game here. There's some season overlap, but I'm not sure these teams are competing for that many of the same dollars. What this does point out is that if you build excitement around a team, make progress toward a stated goal, and build around a talented and dynamic group of players, the city will get behind that and come out to watch. The Phillies were still a pretty good team when the Union started and attendance was great down in Chester even when 30-40k were up the road at CBP.
I agree to a degree. The Union isn't an institution in the same way the Sixers or Phillies are, so this was a period to perhaps embed themselves in people's radar in a meaningful way, rather than supplant any other team. Not only did they fail to do that, but they have in many ways done the exact opposite. "Union? Don't they suck?"
Yeah, the other 4 teams have much higher ceiling than the Union... at least in the immediate future.... that being said a good Union team still has the potential to perform great.
