    On the Defense

Well probably the future star of the defense is gonna be Alex (Santos), he is tall(1,93m), strong, quick, clean, has a great sense of tackle and has a 130km/h free kick

Yeah when he appeared everybody thought that too, but now he is the third reserve on his position in são paulo.

half-truth: sometimes we can tell - for instance, eric lindros, lew alcindor/kareem abdul-jabbar and to a certain extent lebron james were all known in their sport at 13

i have no idea about eric lindros or kareem at that age, but you can't throw LeBron in there. he hasn't proven anything. the thing is, was michael jordan the best in high school when he played? probably not, as shown when he didn't even make the team on his 1st try. some people develop earlier, doesn't mean they'll follow that pattern.

eric lindros and kareem were viewed as sure-fire stars at the age of 13 or so - no, MJ wasn't the best in high school, he was cut from his sophomore team - as for lebron, give him a little time, but i should say that he is well on course to succeed on the expectations placed on him as a 13-year old - he hasn't proven anything in the NBA only because he has yet to play in the NBA, but he should be the first pick in the draft and his growth over the past five years has disappointed no one
