Japan would be a hard beat though regardless. And I dunno anything about Togo, just like I didn't know anything about Senegal last year.

But, we would beat the French though.

Here the pots, the BILD newspaper printed today:

Seems, the setting between pot 3 and 4 is unclear (FIFA will know i guess),
because there are 9 European nations, that aren´t in pot 1
and FIFA said, that each continent should have a max of 2 teams n a group.

Will be interested if this pot setting is true (in the way it was printed) and chear for the drawing this Friday.

Unlike a lot of articles circulating out there this week, this one looks realistic.

    Is there an online version?

This is not a probably. The ninth team does not go to the other pot. Instead, all 9 teams are drawn randomly.

Let's say Arg, Mex and Bra have groups B, D, F. Them when the ninth UEFA team is drawn, only B, D or F can be drawn, but all have an equal chance.

After that, then they move on to the next pot.

I think the toughest group Gerrmany could get would look like:

    Germany
    Netherland/Czech Republic
    Paraguay
    USA (maybe South Korea)

Of course, among the European teams there are other tough teams, like Portugal, Sweden, Croatia. But the Dutch and the Czechs stand out IMO.

Not sure which the most dangerous African country would be...

Germany Togo Swiss T&T (easy peasy)

Italy Paraguay Croatia South Korea (boring)

Brazil Australia Portugal USA (bring it)

France Ecuador Czechs Saudi Arabia (as long as the czechs go through)

Argentina Ghana Ukraine Iran (a few debutants with argentina, just like 98)

Mexico Holland S&M Tunisia (sorts out the floating euro and gives the holland top dog status they deserve)

Spain Angola Poland Costa Rica (spain gets through)

England Ivory Coast Sweden Japan (shake things up)

I think we should just avoid to play Holland and Czech.

By the way Czechs and Holland belongs to "MOST NOT WANTED" for any group....

Looks like Czechs and Holland can not play against each other IN FIRST round I mean of course...I liked the game Holland-Czech last European Cup....it was the best game of soccer history of European Cups...from my point view..

I wish Germany starts better easier group....then we will step up..

But I would also like to avoid US-boys...they are super motivated and dream
about revange for the World Cup 2002 when we played agaist each other and USA missed their chance for Semifinale..only because of Germany:)

For the Finale ..hm I think Brazil would be hard as Finale opponent..

you are very nice dutch friend:)

I bet if we get Holland in our group, we will have dutch invasion on german board..making jokes about us:)...

but we have strict moderator..he will watch you.

but we both are agree Czech are hard team, no one want to have them in the group.....they should create own group:)

    haha problaby yeah.

btw who do you rate the most of the dutch team? and who do you think is the biggest talent?

what do you think of your own german team and talents?

why do germans like David Hasselhoff?

    "Angstgegner" without "s".
Quite strange Holland is not seeded, whereas Spain is. What did they achieve in World Cup History? Well, you haven't been qualified in 2002, but you qualified comfortably this time - Spain having to overcome play-off matches.

The dutch team is very talented, with some outstanding players. I rate van Nistelrooy and van der Vaart particularly high.

Our team has a lot of talent too, something we lacked in recent years. Podolski is an outstanding striker for example, offensive and midfield are absolutely competitive. The discussion about who should be our nr 1 keeper is somewhat ridiculous because we could chose from a dozen excellent goalies,
some really world class, and will probably end up with old Kahn as usual.
The defence is our main problem, followed by a lack of experience as most players are very young.

Careful with Mr Hasselhoff! I liked Knight Rider too, and the cool guy who told KITT to initialize the power booster...

BTW what do you think about Mexico being seeded?
Have we beaten a major power in world football without noticing it?

On Friday Hedi Klum will be one of the moderator at the WC draw.
She says, she is very nervous, because it´s the first football show she comments,
but she has experienced Sportschau moderator Beckmann on her side.
"I root for Klinsmann´s team" and there is no doubt for her, that Germany
reach the final: "We are good, so why shouldn´t we reach it."

Ah yes, I'm sure glad Ms. Klum will be on hand. She's well known for her insightful comments on the beautiful game. Nobody analyses tactics like Heidi. It was a real coup getting her, as I'm sure she was very busy with her usual Bundesliga commitments on the weekend.

We can make some game about possible grouping tomorrow?

Would you prefer to have easier group or difficult group in the first round?

If we play Holland already in the first round, we can not meet them earlier
later than in semi-finale...have some advantages..

    what do you think?
