There were also lower tickets that they were selling. I guess that should not be a surprise at the moment.

 

Was there for the opening and eng v uruguay . I was half way up and 2/3 rds up in the nth and sth stands and it didn't matter the view was great. Was a bit feet cosy compared to other matches and stadiums but other than that it was fine.

 

I paid today USD 1,000 for game 62, which was less than half of the prices demanded in this site. Don't get desperate, prices will go down for sure. Most of Brazilians do not want to see Argentina winning the WC. If you stop paying those ridiculous prices, sellers will be forced to reduce the prices as happened today.

While waiting for this mornings ticket drop, looked at the France 2016 site. Gonna base myself near Montpellier, great city, good trains to all the grounds - even Lens is only 5hrs away - and warm sunny weather. All I need to do now is find a villa!!!

Booked flights and a Riad in Marrakech for 6 days in January next year. African Cup of nations cheap as chips. No ticket issues. Still hoping Ireland will qualify for France so will have to wait and see where to go.

Gelsenkirchen in October might be a tough place to win all right.

Will be a tough campaign. One automatic spot and one playoff spot between Poland, Scotland and ourselves. Think we are in a bit of a decline as well but hope I'm wrong. France being so close and easily accessible would make it a fantastic tournament to reach.

 

Hey guys, here's an idea. The reason these tickets are selling at ridiculous prices is because people ARE WILLING TO BUY THEM. If there is no market for them, then the prices will decrease.

HOW ABOUT WE ALL COLLECTIVELY DECIDE TO NOT BUY TICKETS ABOVE 1.5X FACE VALUE? If no one makes the purchase, then we'll all be spending more reasonable sums and avoiding those sellers who really are ruining the entire purpose of this world cup, which is to bring the world together, and not to make ridiculous sums of money off of each other.

 

Are the mod's on vacation?

 

I have done that more than a dozen times and the same guys are still touting tickets on here.
