Jordan had no chance on earth against Uruguay to begin with, not at all, not in this world or any other.
They should cancel their return leg in Montevideo, they will save themself with a 3-0 loss that way.

Jordan can still advance by scoring at least 6 goals or the least they can force OT by scoring 5 without conceding any!

Damn, this is another warning sign that this world cup isn't going to be too pretty for AFC. The same team that beat Australia and Japan at home got destroyed by CONMEBOL's 5th.

It got destroyed at home, without Uruguay really pushing the gas pedal, at that... :/

A sobering result for all AFC fans, with yet another failure in the inter-continental playoff. The worst Aussie team in 35 years qualified directly, proving how bad Asia really is.

Both games were very close. Unfair penalty for Jordan against the Aussies. And they were lucky not to concede from a penalty against Japan.

Anyways, their 4-0 and 6-0 losses against Australia and Japan said enough. They are not ready for the World Cup. They are not even good by Asian standards. They can upset sometimes, that's it.

I thought this game would be a little closer...but it goes to show how good CONMEBOL is. Oh...and Jordan has no chance of overturning a 5-0 deficit in Montevideo. Even Argentina and Brazil have trouble beating La Celeste down there.

Truth be told, I'm not sure any of the four WC-qualified teams from AFC would beat Uruguay in a two-legged series.

CONMEBOL's 5th is still worlds 4th & Copa America Champions, congrats for Suarez, Now he should just relax and not bother playing the second leg

& the Kiwi's lost from Mexico 5-1 away from home shall Mexico & Uruguay buy their tickets to Brazil yet ?

Was really hoping they'd make it a close game tbh.

How's everything in the AFC forums? Man I left this forum and havent been active in the last two years cause I lost a bet to some Iranian mod.

It's sad that this place looks dead...really dead.

I see persianfootbaler is still posting

If Saudi win then its over for that group imo

Kuwait v Lebanon, I give Lebanon the upper hand since Bader Al Mutawa is out victories over Malaysia and Kyrgyzstan... while Lebanon played Bahrain ateam who's close to Kuwait level and style of play & Iran going to Australia with no doubt

    Group A wasn't following them

Jordan has become a good team in AFC, but Uruguay is too strong.

Jordan truly deserve a "congratulation" for that draw.

Jordan was a surprise team team in the qualifiers. They're good, but Unnfortuatnely for Asia having your top 10 team represent you in a playoff against a top 10 team in the world is just too much.
