That's pretty brutal. Puma really dropped the ball on that one. Second WC in a row where fans will probably make puma change the home kit.

Puma is selling two home kits. The on field replica will be the tight fitted version and the "body armor" is not as noticeable than the picture shown. Also this on field one comes in a special wood box and will be numbered 1/2010 (they are making 2010 to sell) priced at $150 US.

They will also sell a replica of the jersey (short sleeve $75 US, long sleeve $80 US) and these will be a loose fit. The "body armor" in this jersey is like the photo shown in the above post.

    Following Adidas eh?

I think the tight fitted version is the players version, while the replica is for the majority of the fans.

The collar on the Italy shirt somehow replaces WC championship stars?

    Oh.... Right.

Don't know what to say about that Dutch away kit. Could be good when worn but they missed the mark with trying to incorporate the flag what with such a huge white space inbetween stripes.

i actually really like it. either way though, the dutch rarely use the white jersey anyways so i dont think its a huge deal.

but i am a bit disappointed because this pretty much confirms the leaked brazil jersey that we saw a few weeks back -- since the details on this jersey match the brazil one -- like tags on the bottom and the one behind the neck. oh well.

wow! That is just terrible. Man, Nike have really made some nice shirts in the past, but this whole 2010 lineup so far have been garbage. I think the US kit so far is the only good looking one. This whole V template needs to go.

They've been dry fit since 2006. They should go back to total 90

Unless I'm mistaken, wasn't it actually Sphere Dry and then NikeFIT?

you are correct. I just figured sphere dry was more or less the same as dry fit in terms of feel. The Total 90's were really sheer and from what I've played in better then any other nike kit since either "dry" brand holds the sweat instead of repelling it as advertised.

I don't like the chevron idea of the shirt, but it still looks nice and clean. Plus if it's only the away it isn't something to worry about.

Wow, so the underside of the badge says "Oranje Leeuwen," or "Orange Lion."

the most creative part of the whole design is on the inside of the shirt.

If Nike's doing this on one team's away kit, I am betting they're doing it for every team. I know the US have "Don't Tread on Me" on the inside of the collar on the current kits, so that could move, but it seems like an oddly long phrase to fit onto the back of a badge...

CSD mentioned that all nike clubs will have a motto on the inside of their teams badge.

An african unity 3rd kit that has been approved by FIFA nad all African sides wearing PUMA will have a version that they could play in.

The kit represents the game in Africa amazingly and I think it is one of the most honest and well represented kit ideas I have ever seen. Bravo Puma.
