    BRAVO NIGERIA!

When I first saw it I though that it was the plainest jersey I have ever seen and good on them for rejecting it even after it has been on sale world wide.

Adidas, Nike, Puma think they can make w/e and teams will just accept it and in many cases it's true but things like this and Italy's rejection of the Puma home kit for 2006 show that the kit suppliers are not the ones with the final say and more teams should have a say on the design of their kit.

You can't tell me it was Arsenals idea to eliminate the white sleeves or Portugal's idea to eliminate green shorts. But in the end they both accepted what they were given.

good of nigeria to stand up to adidas. i mean, i dont think the jersey is that bad (i sort of like plain jerseys...i love england's lol) BUT it definitely looks extremely generic, with no creativity at all. like they took a generic jersey and added a patch.

seeing as though this is their flag, how bout something that is a bit like ajax's jersey? except green instead of white, and white instead of red....i dunno, just the first thing i thought of. not that creative, but definitely more thought put into it (ie 10 seconds of thought) than it seems they put into the current nigerian jerseys.

Wouldn't be that hard, since what you're describing is basically the away shirt Adidas made for Germany 1998-2000:

The Germany away kit features a simple black design with special trim details that commemorate the first German team from 1898.

The white, red and blue of the Russia away kit mirror the Russian national flag.

The Spanish's new Indigo Blue away kit features colours found in the crest while the three stripes mirrors the national flag.

A black Germany kit with their new golden crest is gonna be something special for sure! I'm liking the sound of the Spain shirt.

The French away uniform features a classic look with red and blue retro pin-stripes.

The new Mexico away kit prominently features the Eagle Warrior along with the brand new black colorway.

A mixture of Twilight and Forest Greens combine to create the new South African away kit.

nike has kept all their jerseys hidden. really the only jersey that we've seen so far from them that has been clearly leaked has been the USA one. the portugal design has been confirmed by CSD. and the brazil one leaked a week ago but it could be a training shirt. so who knows.

I don't know if you're been sarcastic or not, but no, it is a Toffs retro of the '66 shirt.

    That US shirt is class.

And what the hell game are those guys watching? Ireland vs USA vs England? lol. I was going to guess the WC Draw, but, well...;)

U.S. football fans have the annoying habit of wearing any football shirt they have to a match or event, regardless of who is playing. I can't tell you how many Barcelona shirts I've seen when I've gone to MLS games or even USA matches.

Does anyone know where I can find one?

    Thanks for any help!
