Hi all, A report on the opening game of the two-match series between Australia and New Zealand's Football Ferns can be found here: http://www.sportswebsoccer.com/cgi-bin/control.pl?Function=News&Option=ferns&Item=20110513.txt along with a tour preview: http://www.sportswebsoccer.com/cgi-bin/control.pl?Function=News&Option=ferns&Item=20110512.txt&Month= and a profile on one of the squad members: http://www.sportswebsoccer.com/cgi-bin/control.pl?Function=News&Option=spotlight&Item=20110512.txt The date against China has since been revised to May 18, 7.30pm kick-off, NZ time. Incidentally, Sunday's game v. Oz will be our 159th international, and just the seventh time the Football Ferns have appeared on NZ TV screens. The first occasion was against the USA during the 1998 Champions Tour (May 30 - USA, 5-0), and again v the USA on August 12 2007 (USA, 6-1). Our three games from the 2007 WWC Finals were shown live here, but our three matches at the 2008 Olympics weren't. The only other Football Ferns game to be seen on screen here was the 2010 OFC Nations Cup Final, 11-0 over Papua New Guinea. Cheers, JR

Noticed that last night too jonny. Televised nationally in NZ, although tape delayed a couple of hours.
Bit of a surprise in the first match of the Baltic Cup today: Latvia 2-0 Estonia Latvia lost 5-0 at home to Estonia in February, and 7-1 last year in the Baltic Cup.
Estonia 3-0 Lithuania in the Baltic Cup today in Latvia. Latvia need just a draw against Lithuania tomorrow to win the trophy. Later today: Brazil v Chile and USA v Japan.
Estonia 3-0 Lithuania in the Baltic Cup today in Latvia. Latvia need just a draw against Lithuania tomorrow to win the trophy. Lithuania require at least a 4-goal win, while Estonia can only win if Lithuania beat Latvia and do so by 3 goals or less. Later today: Brazil v Chile and USA v Japan.
Looks like the Brazil vs Chile match will also be streamed on the Band channel web page. I'll post the link after it's available.

Good game at the Kastad tonight, Sweden on top for the first 20 minutes and should have scored then but England were the better team in the second half. Over 5000 in attendance.
