I love Morrisons! and the fact that the Hammond is in the advert ruins it for me, I wish he would fall down the cattle grid he's pulling his trolley over!! MEH!! appleCORR
Morrison's is so old fashioned that's why I like it. Like they still have those things you can lock your trolley full of shopping in, incase you want to go to the restaurant. Shit that was prevalent in Sainsburys like 15 years ago! Ha
Hahaha, well you don't want anyone nicking your shopping while you are taking advantage of the low price menu! Morrisons is ace because every store is laid out exactly the same so you know where everything is from one store to another! I'm in York right now (trying to get SOMEONE to deliver a take away but because they have had about 5cm of snow everything has ground to a halt!) but i never get lost in Morrisons here!! appleCORR
Haha, same here we've had 7 inches of snow. My car has been out of action the last 3 days. Ah well, no work anyways!
Hah, I love how supermarketing is more devicive than religion in England now - and the whole north/south divide on what the scum shop is, indeed some places are labelled gash just because of a supermarket chain having an outlet there - northampton was clearly a hole because it had a netto, whereas up norf there's apparently things called lidl and greggs..... Recently was told wallmart is viewed as a scum store in the states, is that right? I always assumed it was more neutral/evil due to it's massive corporate nature. As for apps's morrisons woe (whatever that place even is!), that's just like being a footy fan and having to deal when your team buys someone pony that u hate! As a sainsburys kid, I've had to deal with years of Jamie Oliver, far more offensive than hampster in my opinion!
There was a Sainsburys advert on a few years ago, where Jamie Oliver went : 'What would make your perfect Christmas?' and i will never forget my friend i was visiting going : 'You f**king off!' Hahaha, it was a classic! I have heard the same about Walmart. But i do think they sell everything you could possibly want there!! appleCORR
It's sad. We were saying though, she is one of these people who is famous but you can't think what for other than 8 mile. appleCORR
walmart is the "scum" or "gash" uber-chain store over here...lol im guessing "gash" means low quality over there, here a gash is a woman's privates lol anywho, there is actually a website called http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/ acting as a photo documentary of all the super redneck/low-class people that shop there. Target is basically the same type of store, basically a gigantic warehouse type place selling pretty much everything and anything, but is viewed as slightly less low brow. probably because target spent a pile of money to have their company rebranded a few years back.
I've shopped at Target, Walmart, and just about all the grocery store chains during my travels - I have a fetish for browsing through the aisles of grocery stores whilst in another country - I even get excited just going to my local ones. So much colour, smells, and interesting packaging! That said, I love how you find yourself going into the strangest of shopping malls or stores whilst overseas, unawares that you do not fit into its so-called 'social-class bracket.' In fact, I love how social classes or brackets even exist! Fascinating world we live in! Anyhoo, what's on every1's Christmas lists? I think I may ask for a CD or two - some sort of chillout stuff to pass away the hours of working. I'm a bit of a sucker for Zen stuff, but love the crazy beats of Bedouin and Arabian music.
Same, but mostly genital-curses double-up as derogatory slang also. Mostly how insulting people by simply referring to them as reproductive organs in the most inappropriate way... Sanch, good point bro - the social class divide is quite etheral and it kinda reminds me of the deal when you see someone dating a girl who was unpopular at school - to them their with a hottie but you can't see past the "pee-pants patsy" or whatever reason she was overlooked! Totally dunno how to feel about celeb deaths like that Murphy chick, I tend to presume it's their rock'n'roll fault and don't feel the compassion, far sadder IMO is Chris Henry, at least he did something!
Twas a week before Christmas, when on Capitol Hill The democrats were working, on the ObamaCare bill Americans did not want it, the Dems did not care Backdoor deals being cut, transparency nowhere The children were nestled all snug in their beds Unaware of a future jeopardized by the feds Myself and my wife, part of the unemployed mob Were staying up late, for we didn't have a job When out in the yard there arouse such a rauckus The last noise I heard like this came from Max Baucus Away to the window I flew like a flash Faster than the government can print up new cash The moon that night, oh how strong it did shine So bright you could even read our foreclosure sign When what did I see coming near from afar A mega-green hybrid electric Volt car. With fanfare a plenty, a real hype-orama I knew in a flash it must be Obama. Yes it was Barack, Oh yes this I did know For he has been on every magazine and show On Oprah, on Dateline, on Primetime and Leno On The View, on Wipeout, four times on The Late Show From The New York Times to The Wall Street Journal His face was as familiar as the KFC Colonel He spoke not a word, his teleprompter was broke And the gift that he gave me I thought was a joke He presented no gift to bring me a thrill All that he gave me was a higher tax bill For a guy who spent trillions, I thought this was cheap And the hike in the taxes was very, very steep But that’s the way it goes, for I am middle class When government needs money, it bites us in the ….wallet He sprang to his hybrid, the gears he did wind And left not a single carbon footprint behind Then he exclaimed to me, his higher tax debtor “When I promised change, I didn't say for the better !
Hope everyone is well, and had a good Christmas (or whatever you are so inclined to celebrate) and a happy new year! I just wanted to pop in and say hey
F that son, Stacey Dash in her heyday!!! (which when she last surfaced in the Thru the wire video seemed to still be on-going!).

No 1/2 marathons for me, but my wife has become a running fiend. 2 1/2 marathons last autumn, and she's doing another one St. Patrick's Day weekend at Virginia Beach (while I drink some "refreshments" in the VIP tent)!
Getting ready for Snowpacolypse II, Electric Boogaloo. Bought burgers, dogs, chicken and beer. We're snow grillin' this weekend!
