As I said, they have a lot of time to fill.

What bothers me more than anything about all of this was that we saw these same necklines during the World Cup and Pan-Am Games and nobody said anything until these games.

It's annoying to hear Foudy say "they just don't care" when there are so many problems within the federation and frankly the country. Regularly saying "they just don't care" about other federations is lazy and doesn't tell half of the story especially when most are not organized the same way the USSF is.

26' 1-0 Klingenberg chases back to circle top, sprays wide left to Horan. Horan turns away to 30m wide left, right instep chip over everybody -- Dunn leans 1 shoewidth offside at arc right (but not involved), Press way onside from arc top. Ball bounces at 17m arc left to spot as Press breaks through the high line (Dunn being already beyond it ;)). Peréz comes out to spot, Press flicks waist-high right outstep dink over her at 12m 2/5 left, drops behind her and bounces in ahead of a chasing defender.

Colombia had a mix of necklines during the World Cup and Pan-Am Games. I saw multiple necklines on the field at the same time during both tournaments.

38' 1-0 Klingenberg cuts from 4m wide left past #2, through box left to 1m mid-left. Ground cross to 3m left post outswings just behind Lloyd -- perfect ball-stop :p:mad: with Lloyd's momentum carrying her to left post and ball not following.

42' 2-0 USA fk from 24m box right, Heath(!) floats it to 7m 3-right. Johnston makes a designed diagonal run from arc top through traffic, leaves her defender behind and runs past a 1-v-1, stretches for a knee-high right outstep dink volley over Peréz sprawling out -- perfectly lobs her just inside right post. With Brian out, Heath takes dead kicks? Heath: "I do now"

Perfectly executed set piece ends in a goal. The defenders were lost.

Colombia didn't have that neckline in the WC though. http://storage.edmontonsun.com/v1/d...97714959377_ORIGINAL.jpg?quality=80&size=420x

45+2' (of +2') 2-0 USA chip to 8m center, ball rattles off Horan + defender, drops at 7m 1/3 right. Lloyd measures the drop, right foottop volley toward left 90, Peréz reflex right hand block like Solo on Marta :D

45+3' (of +2') 2-0 USA right ck, to 10m 4/5 right. Horan outjumps 1 and heads a lob to right 90, Peréz backpedals and jump-twists to crossbar, pushes ball wide right and over. No ck, proceed directly to

HT 2-0. Julie Foudy mentioned that HC Fabian Taborda was Colombia's W-17 coach, but (not so) recently took over their W20 and WNT programs, so he's all three coaches. With the upcoming FIFA WWC-17 (2016/Oct) and WWC-20 (2016/Nov), that means no Colombia full WNT camp until early 2017  And that's a good South America program ...

Lloyd is 0-3 on chances today. She needs a tap in to score.

LOL make that 0-4... shot went to row 32

0-5 & 6 set piece into the wall then rebound into the stands

47' 2-0 Quick cross from the deep shade at 25m right touch bends to 15m arc right. Sauerbrunn, checking her six for enemy fighters, inexplicably clangs it to box right foot and over.

48' 2-0 Colombia right ck, short? 2nd cross headed back across mouth to ... Pugh playing defense at own 4m mid-left. Crosser harasses as Pugh stops ball with back to her, Pugh shows eerie calm to spin cw endline and dribble to box (our) left foot.

54' 2-0 Dunn flicks over own head at arc tangent left, chases to box top center, lunges to poke. #6 Maria Jaramillo darts into the 50-50, delivers a perfect shoulder-check that flattens Dunn like a punt returner. Foul, yellow card on Jamarillo.

55' 2-0 USA fk at 17m 2/5 right, Lloyd softly places it into the jumping wall's torsos. Ball rebounds to Lloyd, waist-high right roundhouse slices under ball's center of mass, backspins it over bar.

Is it because Colombia is wearing yellow and the sun is shining that our players are running directly into them?

    61' 2-0 USA subs in:
    - (1 of 6) #6 Whitney Engen for #4 Becky Sauerbrunn
    - (2 of 6) #23 Allie Long for #20 Lindsey Horan
    - (3 of 6) #5 Kelley O'Hara for #7 Meghan Klingenberg.

Horan had an assist on Press's goal, almost a header goal, and almost an assist to Lloyd -- except that it was to Lloyd :p

67' 2-0 USA fk at 14m wide right, Heath(?) left instep bend to Lloyd at 5m mid-left. Lloyd juggles to endline, draws 3 defenders, flicks a ground pass through 3m -- kicked out through 6-top right post, bisects all lurkers. O'Hara runs on at 11m 4-right, shoots one-touch to 1/3 right knee high, Peréz dives and slaps it wide right.

71' 2-0 Colombia counter up arc left, diagonal pass springs #4 Diana Ospina unmarked through box top mid-right to 15m. One-touch right instep shot spins wide right. Ospina tumbles down untouched -- pulled something?

73' 2-0 USA subs in (4 of 6) #11 Ali Krieger for #10(c) Carli Lloyd, and (c) => #17 Heath :D:notworthy: Meanwhile, trainers help Ospina limp into touch.

74' 2-0 Pugh receives facing far touch at arc top center, instantly spins cw and hops over 1, accelerates through arc left past 3, bursts into a clear seam at 13m mid-left. Left instep shot toward left post low, Peréz dives and slaps it wide left.
