    And also, I can't speak for others, but I have always tried to be cordial and calm and constructive on this forum, and other than a few Lahmfan-induced outbursts, I think I've done alright in this regard.

    Cris. Always calling people out but never chiming in with his own analysis. I don't dislike you but this is silly.

    Why discriminate against those who just happen to want more about of football than two or three sentences? The level of discourse is proportional to the amount of information one has or desires in order to feel like they are enjoying the game. It varies for everyone so for those who want to speak in more detail, shouldn't be looked down on. Those who have less to say always seem angered by the information circulation. If you don't care, just don't say anything at all. If you don't agree, you can raise it within context of those points.

    This shit is like American politics and fear mongering Republicans. You went to university? You're a professor? Oooh you're an artsy fartsy know-it-all who read more books. Nerds! bla bla bla

    For the record I think SirManchester makes a salient point regarding those who have little to contribute often chime in simply to be contrarian and look down upon those who do, you being Exhibit A. But I also believe Chris has a point in that people should be more cordial and open-minded in discourse.

    EDIT: And also the stereotyping of conservative politics in the US, stereotypes are bad, yo. :thumbsdown:
