Orlando doing their best not to let Atlanta grab all the headlines. I like the way they are retooling, post-Kaka and Larin.

SAS featured in the new promo video for NYCFC's new shirts. That's a pretty sick jersey, IMO. EDIT: can't seem to link to the video here. It's on Etihad Airways' Facebook site, posted Feb. 7th.
An article involving Connor Hallisey detailing the MLS Tradition of early retiring draft picks. WaPo article here
Looks like Kevin Ellis found a new home in Chicago. We probably won’t see him today, but I’m glad he ended up with another MLS team. Good guy who deserves another chance in the league.
Ellis has played/started, the last couple. He appears to be a first choice RB right now, unless someone is injured. Still, he's getting a nice chunk of time, and he's getting time at a poisition he's actually suited to play.. His Audi numbers have been meh to pretty decent.
benny and latif both notching goals for lafc this weekend and congrats to dom on getting his 100th career goal..
He played forward in college, his goal scoring record as a defender and often lapses makes me wonder if he has been played our of position.
I ordered ESPN+, so I've been watching some USL. Soony Saad played tonight for Indy. Nothing exciting.
Just finished up watching ATL vs ORL to compare how Dom handled the ATL defense compared to Shelton. Dom was his usual wooden footed self and slower than the slowest defender. He didn’t get many touches on the ball but when he did, he usually lost control or just turned it over to ATL. He still gives a lot of effort but he didn’t pester the defense enough to make any difference in the game. Contrast that to Shelton, who was on the ball a lot and made a lot of nice passes. Neither one of them scored on ATL, but Shelton was much more effective in the striker role than Dom looked tonight. The other two ex-Sporting players on the field did fairly well: Alec Kann in goal for ATL looked composed and confident only giving up a goal on a defensive mistake by the ATL center back. Uri Rosell should have been in the entire game as he came out after the half and allowed ORL to possess more of the ball. Good game though, but ATL was just too strong for ORL to handle.
Player Spotlight Palmer-Brown: "we're here to play good football" On loan at Kortrijk, Manchester City's Erik Palmer-Brown is part of a rising generation that believes it can help the national team reverse course and bring it to a global standard. The first step will be his debut - likely in the upcoming friendlies against Bolivia, Ireland, and France. http://www.americansoccernow.com/articles/palmer-brown-we-re-here-to-play-good-football
I was a huge fan of his. Really wanted to see him break through. but he was too slow to be that small, and too weak to make it in MLS. He was nice on the ball, though. didn't he get an appearance, though? Maybe it was a cup deal. In 1996, he and digital would have given each other rest weeks.
Chhetri's first appearance was playing the first half of an Open Cup game on April 13, 2010 v. Colorado.
I just remember him being introduced via video press conference from a Cerner office in India and it being a big deal in India. EDIT: found an article: https://www.sportingkc.com/post/2010/03/26/wizards-sign-indian-forward-chhetri
