The one that's actually playing (Kempin being their first signing would be a pretty underwhelming signing for that franchise). OFFICIAL: #LAGalaxy sign goalkeeper @JonKempin21: https://t.co/9k5uPlvRoc pic.twitter.com/hVYNDzK9nd— LA Galaxy (@LAGalaxy) March 3, 2017
former assistant coach, Octavio Zambrano is apparently going to be the new Canadian national team coach.
Necrobump. Zambrano seems to me to be the most controversial coach in MLS history. About 50% of those who remember him as a manager wonder why he disappeared from the league, and the other half seem to want to introduce him to a wood chipper. What inspires this kind of polarity? I mean the guy coached a couple of the best teams ever seen in the league, did he not?
I think he was important in the on-field turnaround Kansas City went through in the early Vermes era. The players from that era I've talked to all speak very highly of him.
Yeah I think it was Mike Ammann or someone I saw after KC hired him that said something like "wow I thought KC was smarter than that."
I remember that, and I think in general he was unpopular in NY. You would think his results in LA would have been good for some kind of offer after the Metrostars, but instead it seems like he was persona non grata.
CJ as the Fresh Prince. This is delightful. I smiled every time I watched it. Just watch.#DOOP https://t.co/OfpnibIIXE— Philadelphia Union (@PhilaUnion) May 5, 2017
Matt Taylor has retired from playing, he's spent the last 10 years playing in Germany. https://www.op-online.de/sport/kick...irpel-akgoez-treske-kommen-toren-8379539.html
He was wide ********ing open and all he could do was weakly roll the ball into Rimando's waiting arms. Few mental scenes in the 20+ years of following the team come back to me like this one: http://andymead.photoshelter.com/ga...GyT6XJBltz0/I0000qsKGQ71c8rU/C00009pv4aB1fJno And I know the supporters were in the corner behind me, so they had pretty much the same look at the play, though I was closer and watching through a big huge camera lens.
Nemeth is linked with a move back to Europe, Poland this time. http://www.przegladsportowy.pl/pilk...w-lotto-ekstraklasa,artykul,795326,1,789.html
Hope he gets something like that. Strongly doubt he'll come back to kc, and because of that, I don't want to see him back in mls. But I do want to see him succeed and enjoy his career.
Have you seen ones other than from the MLS transfer twitter acct? He's the only one I've seen really throw it out
We could make use of Kei, though I doubt he'd enjoy the lesser role he'd have to live with. There have to be some misfiring teams who could use him. Colorado? Vancouver?
No ... but he retweeted a NERevs Rumors that had thrown both names out ... which was in response to a tweet from Julian Cardillo talking of an outbound transfer.
If LAFC, would assume a loan either within MLS or to Orange County who looks like they'll be their USL affiliate
Maybe, but you know they will build a pretty star powered front line. Kei would definitely be backup.
They are an affiliate of LAFC I believe (already) ... and Orange Co also has Keisuke Honda training with them ... he could have a Drogba type interest (player/future owner) type of thing. https://www.angelsonparade.com/2017...-sc-transfer-free-agent-usl-lafc-ac-milan-mls
