    Yeah... offseason caution point accumulation.

(OK, I really don't know/haven't heard anything. Good question though..)

Is this new? As of 2 weeks ago, as per the Star, he and Shavar were "negotiating new contracts"...

Well I guess we found out how those negotiations went with him.

He & Shavar are still both on the MLSnet roster though. Only Hartman & Harrington have showed new as obviously Hartman has a contract and Harrington is this years Yura special contract I'm sure. None of the other draftees are listed until I'm sure they make the cut and agree to work for $6.20/hour equivalent MLS salary.

    Thanks Chad.

    ----

I am chatting with Cesar and he is giving me updates from the KC-Crew game.
Jack Jewsbury is in defense... yeah. In the first half , Eddie has missed a goal and Pore missed a 1v1 with the keeper. Cesar doesn't know who's in goal for Crew. On the field for KC are Hartman, Conrad, Jewsbury, Burciaga, garcia, Victorine, Johnson and Pore. not sure about the other 3.

    Alex Zotinca to Seattle Sounders?

    Anyone heard anything?

Speaking of my club, has anyone else heard that Seattle might be in KC for a pre-season friendly? Seems odd to us out here, but a KC fan says that during a season ticket push a KC FO'er mentioned a match with Seattle. Perhaps just talking about "what ifs" with the US Open Cup???

Well on the first post of this thread there's apparently a game on March 31st in KC against a TBD, maybe that could be the match.

Yeah, I've thought about that possibility, too.

It seems strange, and a money-losing proposition for the Sounders, to travel to KC on that date. Especially since last season we OPENED camp in April.

That's why I am beginning to wonder if the Sounders and Wizards aren't negotiating some sort of match-for-player agreement. We do that with MLS clubs almost yearly as our better players are signed away and we get a 'friendly' in return. It's just that usually that friendly takes place in Qwest Field.

I know he was in talks about a new contract with the Wizards. But I hadn't heard anything since then. Then I know his wife is pregnant but I don't know how far along she is. Maybe he's stayed home to take care of her and be with the baby if it's that time.

    Same here.

But I'd like to see who played in the scrimmage yesterday.

I don't remember the whole starting lineup, but I'll do my best from what I heard:

The back line was Jimmy, Jose, Nick and Jack (at right back).

Sasha was the only regular midfielder. Edson Elcock was in there, I think Hohlbein was too, but I don't remember the other guy... possibly Godbolt.

    Sealy and EJ up top.

    For the whole game ?
Jack at right back is just weird. I see him as just a super-sub.
Elcock I assume played wing or wide midfield, no idea if left or right.
I'd be interested in how EE did.

Sorry, no that was the first half lineup.

    Wholesale changes at the half.

Jack played at right back again today, for 2 of 3 periods against DC.

    Nope. No Shavar either.

The Sounders are tracking 3-4 players currently in MLS camps, but my guess is those players are in Colorado and LA (BOTH Chivas USA & Galaxy)
