According to the Danish media Newcastle want him on a loan deal. If this is the case then you can forget about it. FCK are never going to send their absolute key central defender on loan... It's simply unthinkable. They expect to make a £12 million profit this season without selling any players, so they dont need money and have already told the media than non of their key players are for sale unless they get an offer that is simply to good to resist. So in other words, If Newcastle is only interested in a loan deal, then it's not going to happen... and they need to find some real money to buy him. Michael Gravgaard (28) has won 11 caps, and scored 4 goals for the Danish NT (not including any B-caps): http://www.uefa.com/competitions/ucl/players/player=101242/index.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Gravgaard .
How much do you think he would cost for a permanent transfer? even a loan until March? That's when the season starts again in Denmark (Okay, I think you have a few Royal league fixtures as well). Probably unrealistic though we are desparate for a defender and more than likely our club will panic at the last minute (as usual) and spend a ridiculous amount of money on a player in the last second so maybe FC Copenhagen will get that offer that is too good to resist
I think FCK would expect around £3.5 million to let him go.. His contract with FCK expires in 2011. ---- Igors Stepanovs to Esbjerg Danish Superliga side Esbjerg have signed the 31-yo Latvian International (91 caps, 3 goals) Igors Stepanovs. The former Beveren, Grasshoppers and Arsenal defender has signed a 2½-year contract with the danish Superliga side. Hassan Mubiru to Silkeborg 28-yo Hassan Mubiru who is also Nicknamed Ugandas "Figo" and is Uganda's all-time national league top scorer, has signed a ½-year contract with the danish Superliga side Silkeborg following a trial at the club. It should be said that Mubiru was suppose to go on trial at AGF Aarhus but then was not able to show up and asked for the trial to be postponed. The trial was then cancelled by AGF, because they found Mubiru's behaviour unprofessional. .
Peter Madsen finished at FC Köln The 28-yo former danish international (13 caps, 3 goals) Peter Madsen has been told by his German team FC Köln, that he got 2 days to find himself a new club, if he dont want to warm the bench for the rest of this season. Th former Brøndby, Wolfsburg, Bochum and Southampton forward has been told that he is free to leave the club, despite having 1½-year left of his contract. Claus Jensen on his way to Spain ? The 29-yo danish international (46 caps, 8 goals) Claus Jensen could be on his way to leave English Fulham FC to join the top-flight Spanish side Levante. Claus Jensen has also been rumoured to the Danish Champions FCK of lately, but according to his Agent Bayram Tutumlu he now has an offer from Spain. Bayram Tutumlu is also saying that a Danish player from the Viasat Sport Division side Lyngby, may be on his way to Spain before the transfer window is closed. .
Has Lyngby lost any other talents? That's going to open the door for AGF to move up the table. Maybe not the right place, but any club mergers being talked about?
Already done : https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=10320905&postcount=199 I dont know about any March Agile though ?, but they have signed the Czech Rep. keeper Martin Raska from Baník Ostrava. I answered your other quesitons in the "White and Gueugnon" thread .
I think Ceres meant to post here: I meant end of season. I heard about Koge-Herfolge, but what about Lyngby, HIK, AB? Any shot at that? Might be a cool uniform with the blue and green
I don't think that you will see such a combination in the future eventhough it could help these clubs poor economies. Especially not Lyngby BK who rather wantede to get bankrupt and be degrade to the Danmarksserie (4th best league) than beeing saved by a fusion with Farum BK (now FC Nordsjælland). The club has also so far had succes with their fight back to the top-flight so eventhough I doubt Lyngby's economy is strong to keep them in the Superliga every year they will never merge with any of their neighbooring clubs.
Danny Olsen to FC Midtjylland The Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland have signed a 4½-year contract with the Danish U21 international (4 caps) Danny Olsen (21) from the Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjælland. According to Danish newspapers FCM is to pay a $700,000 transfer fee for the talented right winger/forward, who is suppose to replace Mikkel Thygesen who was sold to Borussia Mönchengladbach. Danny Olsen gets shirt number 21 at FCM. 6 players finished at Brøndby According to the Danish *ESM, TIPS-Bladet, then 6 Brøndby players have been told that they are no longer needed at the club. The 6 players are keeper Casper Ankergren, left backs Joseph Elanga and Asbjørn Sennels, midfielder Stefan Schmidt and the forwards Hannes Sigurdsson and Giovanni Rector who were both signed 5 month ago, but did not show the needed quality to stay at the club. Casper Ankergren to Leeds ? According to Casper Ankergren himself, Brøndby and the English side Leeds United seem very close to agree on a suitable transfer fee, sending the 27-yo keeper to Leeds. Ankergren is transfer listed and has been told that he is no longer needed at Brøndby. .
What's the scouting report on Asbjørn Sennels? Start are desperately looking for a left back, and Sennels name has appeared on the rumour mill.
Asbjørn Sennels (28) had great succes at Viborg FF before moving to Brøndby in 2004. He also won 2 A-NT and 3 League NT caps in 2003 and 2004, but since then it has been a bit down-hill for Sennels and now he as written is one of 6 Brøndby players who are no longer needed at the club. It's always difficult to find a good left back and Sennels is not really a bad player, but just not of NT quality. It seems that IK Start are also interested in Brøndby's Icelandic forward Hannes Sigurdsson ?. .
Rumour has it they may be interested in Sigurdsson as a backup to David Nielsen as the central striker in their 3-man attack. Todi Jonsson was never a real success, as he simply did not score enough (although he always played with heart), but Nielsen has had his career revitalised in Norway and proved himself to be a team player and a genuine goal scorer. Personally I am not sure Sigurdsson would be the right choice for us as he is simply not dangerous enough in front of the goal.
Casper Ankergren on loan to Leeds The 27-yo Brøndby keeper Casper Ankergren has joined the English side Leeds United on loan until the end of the season, but with an exclusive option to purchase the player in the summer. Ankergren has been told that he is no longer needed at Brøndby. --- Jonas Troest finished at Hannover 96 The Danish U21 International (25 caps) Jonas Troest (21) has been handed a free transfer by Hannover 96 and is rumoured to make a quick move to a Danish Superliga team. Troest only got to play 8 games for the German Bundelsiga side. - "It is correct that the contract has been cancelled. I belive your soon going to find out why, but lets just say that it was not due to disciplinary problems or any thing like this" Jonas Troest said to bold.dk. --- American keeper to Esbjerg The danish Superliga club Esbjerg have signed a 3-year contract with the 21-yo American goalkeeper Tally Hall who was recently drafted by the Los Angeles Galaxy of the MLS. At the same time Esbjerg have released 2nd choice keeper Jan Hoffmann (35), who is going to make a quick move from Esbjerg to Vejle BK, while the 23-yo Vejle 2nd choice keeper Stig Olsen has been handed a free transfer and join the Danish Viasat Sport Division team Aarhus Fremad. Before moving to the Los Angeles Galaxy, Tally Hall was a star for the San Diego State University Aztecs and a two time NSCAA and College Soccer News All-American, a semi-finalist for the Hermann Trophy, and a first-team all-Pacific Ten Conference honoree for two straight years. --- Suguru "Hashi" Hashimoto to Vejle The Danish Superliga club Vejle have signed a 2-year contract with the 24-yo Japanese midfielder, Suguru "Hashi" Hashimoto from Albirex Singapore. --- Ali Gerba on loan to AC Horsens The Danish Superliga club AC Horsens have signed a 5 month loan deal with the 24-yo Canadian International (7 caps, 1 goal) Ali Gerba, after the IFK Göteborg forward had completed a successful trial by scoring both goals for AC Horsens when they beat the German 3rd level team Lübeck 2-1 in a pre-season match. --- Bulgarian forward on loan to Randers The Danish Superliga team Randers FC have signed a 5 month loan deal (with an option to sign a permanent deal) with the 20-yo Bulgarian forward Dormushali "Mushi" Saidhodzha from the Bulgarian top-flight side Botev Plovdiv. The talented forward has scored 8 goals in 14 league games for his Bulgarian team this season. .
What are the rumors about Troest? I saw him play in the U21's against Greece and he looked very good. Where do you think he'll end up?
Being so close to the transfer deadline, ther is no time for rumours ..... so to answer your question : OB Odense makes big "last-minut" signings OB Odense have used the last day of the transfer window to sign a 2½-year contract with the 35-yo Danish International (104 caps, 2 goals) Thomas Helveg from the German Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach and a 3½-year contract with the Danish U21 International (25 caps) Jonas Troest (21) who has just been handed a free transfer by the German Bundesliga side Hannover 96. Helveg get shirt number 6 while Troest get shirt number 18 at OB. OB Odense have also signed a 3½-year contract with the 24-yo Montenegro forward Srdjan Radonjic from last seasons Serbian Silver medalists FK Partizan Belgrade. Radonjic has scored 33 goals in 57 games for FK Partizan and was last season topscorer in the Serbian Leage, scoring 20 goals. Radonjic get shirt number 24 at OB. The transfer fee has not been disclosed. OB Odense also made a lst minut shock deal when they sold the 24-yo Serbian goalkeeper, Nenad Novakovic (who OB signed in December 2006 from Køge) to the Italian Serie A side Reggina !?. The transfer fee has not been disclosed. .
No, I really dont know what happened... ---- Tobias Grahn to Gimnàstic de Tarragona According to the big Spanish sports-newspaper AS, Danish viasatsport.com and the highly reliable Danish newspaper Politiken, then AGF Aarhus have sold their 26-yo Swedish International (4 caps, 1 goal) Tobias Grahn to the Spanish side Gimnàstic de Tarragona. The highly rated midfielder has been negotiating with top-flight clubs in Germany, Italy and Spain the past few days but was not able to come to an agreement over his personal terms with the Germans or the Italian side Reggina, so in the end he chose to sign a contract with the small Spanish top-flight team Gimnàstic. According to viasatsport.com, the transfer fee is a bit more than $700,000 .
Nathan Coe to FC København The Danish Champions FCK have signed a ½-year contract with the 22-yo Australian keeper Nathan Coe, who has been on two trials at the club the past few month. http://fck.dk/index.php?pageid=754&newsid=6363 .
Adda Djeziri on loan to Glasgow Rangers The 18-yo AM/F Adda Djeziri has joined Glasgow Rangers on loan until the end of the season, but with an option to purchase the player in the summer. The young talent has played 12 games for the Danish Viasat Sport Division (2nd level) side BK Frem. According to Danish newsmedia Reggina paid a $2 million transfer fee for Nenad Novakovic ..... Strange that they would make such an offer in the same transfer window less than 2 month after OB Odense signed him from the Viasat Sport Division (2nd level) side Køge !? .. .
Antti Okkonen and Stefan Schmidt to Silkeborg IF Danish Silkeborg IF have signed the 24-yo Finnish International (13 caps) Antti Okkonen from the Swedish 2nd level side Landskrona BoIS and the 31-yo Brøndby midfielder Stefan Schmidt. The transfer fees have not been disclosed. .
Ygor Maciel Santiago to Start? Norwegian media are reporting that 22-yo Brasilian midfielder Ygor Maciel Santiago has signed with Start. He has played 117 matches for Vasco da Gama over the past 4 seasons and is their captain. Reports say Basil coach Dunga has told the talented defensive midfielder to get to Europe to enhance his chances to play for the national team. http://www.fxt.no/tippeligaen/article896126.ece
That's interesting. What do you know about him - position, qualities, etc? If he's a typical Brazilian technical player that may be a tough fit in the Tippeliga, no?
I know very little about him except that he's a defensive midfielder, and has scored 5 goals in his 117 matches. Start play 4-3-3 and have long been looking for an "un-norwegian" player for the holding role - someone with excellent technique and an ability to direct the offense from the back with some creative flair. Our current options - both veterans and youth players - do not have that ability. There is a small handfull of Brasilians in Sweden and Norway who have done quite well, so it may well be that he has the toughness to excel in Tippeligaen.
