scaryice (Portugal) vs hecho en mexico! (Ireland). Game #1: Portugal 3:1 Ireland 0:1 Andy Reid-'30 1:1 Pauleta-76' 2:1 Deco-80' 3:1 Pauleta-90+' First half was total domination by me. Ireland had one chance that they managed to put away. I would've been pissed had the result stood, but I came back and won it. Pauleta's goals were both penalties. Game #2: Ireland 1:2 Portugal 1:0 Robbie Keane-2' 1:1 Deco-74' 1:2 Simao-90+' Very even and exciting game. Keane scored almost immediately. Halfway through the first half, I won a penalty. Figo (Pauleta out due to condition) sent the keeper the wrong way, but put it wide. After Deco's goal, the game was back and forth with both teams trying to get the winner. Both teams missed seemingly easy chances, and it was crazy. Finally, Deco (I believe) dribbled into the box, cut inside, and passed to Simao who turned and fired, beating the keeper at the near post. Heartbreaking for Ireland. The final whistle blew right after the kickoff to one of the most intense games I've played.
stranger - Cameroon hecho - Ireland scaryice - Portugal Ireland 4-2 Cameroon As with the first leg, a tale of two halves. In the first 45, Ireland dominates, getting goals from Holland and Morrison, both on shots from outside the area. Cameroon's keeper is ejected for a foul in the box, but the backup admirably saves the PK. Right before halftime, Holland scores the backbreaker. Second half, Cameroon carries the play. A Geremi free kick is followed by a goal from Eto'o. Although a comeback seems possible at this point, a steal off a throw in results in the insurance goal from Morrison. At some point, Keane missed a second PK for Ireland, but his one I thought was a poor call. Cameroon 4-2 Portugal Duoala puts Cameroon off to a dream start with two early goals. The first is quite fortunate, as he is able to ride through what looked like a solid tackle by the Portugese defender. The second is a header. Nuno Gomes scores right before the half time whistle, but Portugal probably deserved to be level. Second half, Cameroon sits back, but Portugal still creates numerous chances, including a point blank header requiring a miraculous save. The teams trade corner kick goals at the end, first by Eto'o, then Andrade. Eto'o then scores an insurance goal after Portugal's keeper is caught out. Portugal 1-3 Cameroon Cameroon plays a bit of a bunker-counter, and the ugly style pays off, as Duoala and Eto'o are able to get goals, despite their team being outpossessed. 2-0 at the half. Second half, Nuno Gomes (I think) is able to score early on a header. Midway through, Eto'o times his run well on a long pass and is able to elude the keeper and score in the empty net. A bit later, around 80m, scaryice's connection fails. Per the rule established for these situations, the 3-1 scoreline is final.
I wasn't able to find anyone to play with tonight. Perhaps people (especially those with <6 games played) could post here the times they usually play. For me, my usual schedule is evenings, after 10pm ET.

I played versus deurges (Serbia) Cameroon 1-1 Serbia Cameroon had the better of the play, but could only score one goal, through Douala. Ibac equalized late to culminate some good play by Serbia. A fairly ugly game, played in rainy conditions. Serbia 1-3 Cameroon Played in snowy conditions. Kezman scored very early for Serbia off a rebound. Serbia had a few chances to go up by 2, but could not convert. Although Cameroon was not good the first half, Geremi scored on a free kick late, in what proved to be the turning point. Cameroon played better in the second half, and Douala scored two goals, one midway through, the second late to seal the win.
