This time last year saw some player movement with Luke Mulholland and Gareth Evans going to the NASL (Minnesota and Carolina, respectively) and Dre Budnyy playing indoor for the Syracuse Silver Knights of the MISL (with ex-Hammerhead Anthony Maher.) I thought I'd have a thread to catch all the moves (and rumored moves) this off-season. First-- Corey Hertzog's loan is up and he will be returning to New York. Second- Andriy Budnyy posted on the PCF page thanking the Firm for their support and closed with "Thank You for everything. I will miss you." Sounds like he may not be back.
Good thread idea. I would hate to see Budnyy go away; he was my runner-up for team MVP. Hertzog's impact on the team this year cannot be overstated.

Cody Arnoux plans to take next year off to finish his degree and think about his future. "I don't know what's next for me," Arnoux said. "I don't really want to think about soccer right now. That means they didn't have a place for him in MLS. He seems to be at the top of his game I don't know why he wouldn't be trying out for other clubs now. His brain will stay fitter longer than his body so I would wait on school if it were me. Hopefully, he suits up for us in the spring. He has such talent!
I didn't expect to have him back next year but only because I figured he would be getting attention from MLS teams (or at least from a few NASL teams.) But after his time at Everton and RSL, it's easy to see why he's frustrated at winding up in the US Third division and not even starting.

I wanted to let you know I've been doing some research on Icelandic soccer this morning (not a phrase you often hear, eh?) and it looks like Thor Akyureki has not only won the league this year, but they have won every game they played. http://www.soccerway.com/teams/iceland/ithrottarfelagid-thor-akureyri/ There was lots of hullaballoo and hurrah on Chuck's Twitter on September 15th about being 2012 champions and winning 10 straight games in a row. Caught a tweet this morning that Troy Hernandez is going to be playing in the MISL for the Baltimore Blast, but can't find any official roster confirmation on the MISL or Baltimore sites to reference. Either way, that's good news for Troy!
