Certainly they deserve their own sub-forum, unlike the Timbers.

I think we need three more kind souls to join us in this noble endeavour ...but remember--

But doesn't it make sense to have a sub-forum for each team in the league, whether or not they get utilized? It seems to me that shouldn't even be a question. If you're new to the site and you don't see a Hammerheads sub-forum, you might not know to request it. (I didn't.) Or you might not be aware enough to realize the team is playing again.

And why keep an old sub-forum around for a team that no longer plays in the league? I think it makes the site look sloppy and ignored. Just one man's opinion. :(

Sorry I was ignoring you.... jk ;)

Seriously, the super-mods have lot to cover and us simple mods have no control over forum creation/deletion.

I think the Hammerheads will get a subforum soon.

Well... the simple mods need to rise up and demand more autonomy! The more the simple mods are empowered, the less the super mods have to deal with, right?

(I'm sure there's no such thing as a simple mod anyway.)

(And what's the secret to getting a bigger avatar?)

Actually, if simple mods pester the Sups too much they ignore us.

Patience, the forum is (probably) coming.

Tom Grady has posted some videos from the open house event last Sunday. Strange to see the Hammers in the royal blue unis, but there it is...

...and the forecast for tomorrow night's game hasn't improved-- strong thunderstorms and wind. See you there anyway.

The Rochester/Hammerheads game was postponed due to tornado warnings in the area the threat of serious lightning. A couple of twisters touched down in the counties just north of Wilmington and the conditions seemed favorable for more tornado development.

The game has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 17 at 2:00 pm at Legion Stadium.

I think that is pretty good all things considered. Anytime you reschedule a game with little notice its going to affect the gate negatively.

Actually, it's better than I expected after the weather last night and the hurried rescheduling for a game 17 and a half hours later. But I was expecting the Hammers to start slow and build through the season anyway.
