Teams from outside the Top 6 leagues have 0 wins and 30 losses against teams from Top 6 leagues through 4 rounds this year. No new league is ever winning the Champions League, period, end of story. If one does, the most likely is probably the United States when 20+ years from now, air travel is so fast that they just have a Global Champions League. By then, maybe MLS will finally be ready to spend some money on player salaries.
Will never happen until some sort of "foreign player cap" is established in the future (a serious one, not the bullshit we have today), Bayern, Barca, Madrid win every year because they are a ********in UN. It would also balance the top leagues even more, as the talented foreigners that don't make it to the "super teams" would start filling the ranks of the likes of Malaga, Swanseas or Hamburg
Only if Catalonia declares independence from Spain....otherwise, probably not. If it happens, it will be because a billionaire buys a big club from a smaller league and pours tons of money into it, like what has happened with Chelsea, Manchester City, and PSG.
