Anyone heard anything about another YA named Will Orben? Played in the Danish Div 1 a few years ago and think he is currently in Sweden Div 2.

Well, responding to my own post, a search on Google came up with this:

    (taken from: http://www.bkskjold.dk/Herresenior/1_Herrer/Herre1FCN2.htm)

    2. division
    onsdag den 5. juni 2002, FC Nordjylland - Skjold 1-2 (1-1)

    Nordjylland - Skjold 1-2
    0-1 Will Orben (02)
    1-1 Jacob Berger (40)
    1-2 Lasse Holmgaard (316)
    319 tilskuere.

Question is which league this is. Looks like Danish Div 2, no?

With 319 in attendance I would certainly think it isn't Div 1.

I believe Skjold plays in the Danish 2. division (third level) and are located near (or in) Copenhagen. I asked a Danish friend about them, and he knew who Orben was but not whether he was playing.

They play in the 1st Division (2nd level). Skjold plays in Copenhagen, in the Østerbro Stadion. They have 1 point from 2 mathces so far, and from what I can see, Will hasn't played. If memory serves me correctly, he was with the FC Copenhagen reserves last season.

    Hey there Eisern,

I'll be in Copenhagen in a couple of weeks. Any idea where I can find a schedule of matches?

http://sunsite.tut.fi/rec/riku/soccer.html is a fantastic site for schedules, results, tables for all Euro leagues. They have the first two divisions in Denmark listed. They alo have links to club websites and the DBU (Danish FA).

Brondby will offer the best atmosphere. Copenhagen is great, have fun.
