Ja waroom? Nederlands is gewoon een Duits dialekt eigenlijk. En jij? Van Farsi tot Nederlands is het een beetje verder... ben jij in Belgie opgegrooid? you should go back to Antwerp, lots of nice pubs and restaurants there.
hehe ja das waar eigenlijk duits versta ik ook wel enne ik ken frans, engels, nederlands, farsi en volgend jaar leer ik duits. well that's it i guess. yeah i know i always liked antwerp but i can't choose were to live lol i am only 15 you know. en ja ik ben hier geboren.
Jij spreekt echt vlaams en geen nederlands, grappig. Succes met het Duits! Niet echt een eenvoudige taal. Te veel grammatica denk ik, maar gelukkig ben ik ermee opgegrooid.
Gewoon in German would be 'einfach' ('gewoehnlich'). 'Just' or 'simply' is probably the closest in English.
Just saw this. And yes they are! Borders are sooo outdated. But then again, we need to keep them to keep the World Cups alive.
Imagine if we brough up something like this on World Rivalries? I think the English posters would get upset first. . . . . .. . . .Then my fellow Americans
Yeah--but having front row seats to something this hillarious would surpass....hmmmmm??? another jrod69 thread?
Yes like I said Dutch is very close to german. Also vind ik = finde ich = I find veel moelijker = viel schwieriger (muehsamer) = much more difficult
V's replace F's Schwieriger I was reading it like schwer (heavy, difficult) How are the j's pronounced?
Dein Deutsch ist jetzt sehr gut! So schlecht kann die Amerikanische Sprachenausbildung dann doch nicht sein...
Schwierig is difficult. J's in Dutch - depends. Usually it's more like y as in you. If it's an ij it's like an i or y as in Vrij = Fry.
The best way to practise is always when you are forced to do it... so you should come to Germany really. My English was pathetic before I went to the States, and later to Britain. See you for the WC in 2006?
Yes that's true. Some people mistake it for Arabic sometimes. In general, Dutch has a lot of double vowels, which can disappear in the plural form. Like: Plaats = place, pl. platsen meer = lake, pl. meren etc etc
Let me tell you....I really want to go back to Germany, especially for next year. Did you study here in the States? The wife and I have yet to take a honeymoon. She wants to go to Florence, I want to go to Southern Germany. <sigh> if it doesn't happen next year, I am sure we will be seeing Europe in 07.
