At worst, its your racism membership card. It is a straightforward equation. Time for a new faction, some new politics, from different citizens.

They just want to defend a GOP. It's purely partisan in a way that is just totally absent from the left wing internet presence. And that is a big, big reason why the Dems have taken to the internet so strongly and so productively. Dems are far, far more collaborative. GOPs just want to take orders. So the Dems have a hell of alot more intellectual capital working for them.
Re: Why the Repubilcans shouldn't use new media That's interesting, because we had a sex scandal in the AG's office here in Ohio not all that long ago, and before it broke in the press many of us bloggers started to hear some rumors. My blog elected not to write about it until there were actual facts; we weren't interested in torpedoing a Dem based on gossip. However, one of the principles - the young woman who was the AG's scheduler and whom the AG was having an affair with - approached us about telling her side of things. Remember, this is before it broke in the press; her goal was to squash the rumors. In fact, she flat-out lied to our faces at the pub where she approached one of us and denied the affair that has been admitted by all parties since. We refused to play ball, and remained quiet until it broke in the media - at which point we unloaded with both barrels on the AG. Take it for what it's worth.
