For years now I've been hoping to say the words "The thousand year sacrifice has been fulfilled!", but I never though the opportunity would arise. I'm so glad this happened.
.@clairecmc - I set up a flatbed truck that we can take anywhere across the state. I’ll take it to any courthouse – or if necessary to any airport tarmac to meet your plane. You name the time & the place. #MOSen pic.twitter.com/NSfgF9fbXY— Josh Hawley (@HawleyMO) August 8, 2018 Note to Yale law grad: the thing you are standing on is a trailer. The picture below it is a flatbed truck. See you at our first debate! 😬 pic.twitter.com/w9Ib72fbQ4— Claire McCaskill (@clairecmc) August 8, 2018
Right winger trolls Ocasio-Cortez and chastizes her for not co-operating with him. She says she doesn't respond to catcalls. He gets hurtsy. https://www.yahoo.com/news/m/8985ff...5deb3c190/ss_ben-shapiro-hits-alexandria.html
After the public notified Roberson, rather than admit his mistake and delete the post, he claimed he was owning Libs with a badly photoshopped image. 1028007575416008704 is not a valid tweet id
If you zoom in, you can see the faint outlines of "40%" under the 50% Approval rating. So the "new media" this guy shouldn't use is Photoshop.
Worse. A segment loved this... Stop catcalling me. https://t.co/c2sL7IceA9— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) August 10, 2018
Son of a Republican using new media to smack down his retiring pops, Bob Goodlatte. Lots of interesting Thanksgivings this fall. 1029057447393144832 is not a valid tweet id
I don't often read Trumpalo comments, but this Bob fella has a lot of them on his Twitter feed. Man have they lost it.
I notice that Yahoo! is carrying a Martians Invading Earth story from "Investors Business Daily," about how the Russians massively intervened in the 2016 election to help Hillary Clinton. That is what we have come to. A once-respectable business newspaper that no longer can generate readers except by publishing Protocols of the Elders of Zion style conspiracy theories, taken mainstream by a once-respectable website that can no longer generate readers except by publishing clickbait. And people who want to believe such things see such articles and that's all they need. Hillary's guilt right in front of us, atop a Yahoo! page. Sigh. The dumbassing of America.
White supremacist rally leader gets yelled at by his dad during livestream You people are damn lucky that I don't charge you for this hilarious link dump.
I'm guessing that there' a lot of crossover between alt-right, incels and OC, with dicklessness being the common denominator..
Another indication of how Republican politicians are superior to their voters. The Senate today unanimously passed a resolution stating that the media is not the enemy of the people. Now, you can say that is just lip service, and what is the Senate really doing to stand up for itself, and so forth. But that misses the real point. That being, nobody in the Senate actually believes that the media is national enemy. Nobody. They know that talk is Trump laying a turd. But tens of millions of Republican voters believe. Oh, they believe.
I can not find the post, but someone posted that the Republicans in the Senate want to pass legislation (or worthless resolutions) that may help with moderates and independents, this may be the start.
To be honest, every-time I watch a WWII movie I say to myself, "We'll probably be the bad guys in this one too..."
Every time I see a Vietnam War doc (and in the future, Iraq War docs) we see a lot about the presidents, why supposedly we were there, the troops just doing their best in a shitty situation, the protests. But you usually don't see the utter devastation of the "host" country. Other than video of bombs dropping & those Vietnamese children running down the road burned by napalm. We're so oblivious as Americans to some of the disasters we've created. Will be interesting to see how Kissinger is honored...whenever he goes.
