    It's real. It's a small county in Colorado. The person who wrote the tweet has been...I'm assuming s/he was a volunteer. So s/he wasn't fired, s/he was relieved of duty.

    BTW, I can't wait until our liberal overlords take over and create a word to replace s/he, for singular 3rd person, when the gender is indeterminate. "It" won't work.

    She really, truly wrote that Republicans hate the poor. Man, I know that the GOP isn't attracting a lot of Rhodes Scholars these days, and that a county office will be fishing pretty deep, but that level of stupidity is still difficult to fathom.

    I am surprised that tweet was still up this morning - I saw it at about 7 AM Pacific, so it's only been deleted in the last couple of hours. I'm even more surprised that it was posted on Friday and didn't get deleted until today.
